Wrinkly new leaves and back of leaves has sticky spots

#NeverNeverPlant

Hey Greg team - need your help, please ๐Ÿ™

My two plants have the same issues, new leaves come out wrinkly and they don't smooth out over time (none of the older leaves have this issue).

The back of leaves are also sticky - could this be a sign of pests? I can't see anything visible on the plants.

The sticky is spider mites @AstroMind @fifidots
The wrinkles may be due to lack of humidity? Not fully sure.
And the sticky leaves may be a pest. My calathea Freddie had some similar looking sticky leaves that I am trying to find the cause for.
Wipe the leaves with a wet cloth/neem oil to clean them from the sticky liquid and hopefully get rid of any possible pests you may have on the leaves.
Underwatering and lack of humidity. Also, for more replies add more hashtags. @KrunchyWrap omg no! Have not seen any webbing on mine. Iโ€™ll keep an eye out. Thanks for that! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
Thanks @KrunchyWrap - you've confirmed what I suspected - time for a little TLPC (tender loving pest control)
@fifidots @AstroMind no problem you guys! I truly hate you guys have to deal with those dastardly things but I hope you can eliminate them quickly (and for them painfully)
