@SubAlp id like to know more about why you like this plant. I first learned about the plant when I was searching for a replacement for a palm in a large rustic concrete container at my parents house. I ended up going with a native evergreen species βTexas sageβbecause Iβm trying to transition my parents landscaping into habitat that showcases the native flora of the Texas Hill Country and provides wildlife habitat, but I am still lusting over this plant. Is this in your garden, patio plant houseplant? How did you discover this plant, what made you choose it and what do you like about it? Has it had any surprises for you? How big was it when you got it and how big is it now?
@TexanExpat Houseplant. I saw it outside in Japan. There are so many different flower color varieties. It was very small and grows into a large shrub. Not a true maple, but love the leaf shape.
