Is the concerning? I have been watering succs today and I noticed this sunset has really grown. He’s always had some coloration on the leaves since I got it but I’m unsure about the other marks. They are sort of raised and dry. Almost like a scar. Before and current. @AnthuriumQueen @vvvelo or anyone else who might be knowledgeable on succs. Thanks! #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #PlantAddict

Graptosedum California Sunshine ☀️🌸 the blooms are opening by the day and they are so pretty! I love the star shaped flowers, & even the stomata’s are cool. they look like little fireworks coming out the flower ✨ the pink tones in the middle really give it some character 😊. So proud of my first self grown blooms ! I even have an Echeveria pulidonis that is forming two bloom stalks, I don’t have a progress pic just yet. I have had both of these plants for almost a year & from my observations the most neglected succulents thrive the most 😂😳 that’s one thing I’ve learned so far when it comes to succs that less is more! #BloomingSuccs #GrowingSuccs #GrowLights #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #Graptosedum #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantAddict

Hey #Greggers it’s been a while since I have posted an update on my #Succulents so here’s what’s new in my oasis 🪴 My graptosedum Cali sunset is soo close to blooming, I can’t wait to see these star like white flowers 🥹 I’m very happy because this is my first bloom that formed with my care, instead of me buying it with the bloom stalk already established. Pachyphytum ‘Aquamarine’- she has grown a lot, even though she drops leaves sometimes she is very healthy and happy, she has gotten so full & tall since I got her last summer. 🌱 Calico hearts- I moved her back under my grow lights, instead of a southern window, because I want her to have those goregous stress colors/speckles. She is a favorite plant/succulent of mine, im so proud that I’ve kept her looking good & over all healthy! She has some new growth as usual 🙌🏻 Echeveria ‘pink diamond’- she has been doing alright, not as good as she could be but we will get there 💕 Anacampseros retusa- violet and her baby are slowly getting bigger they aren’t as fast of growers in comparison to their cousin anacampseros sunrise 🌄 but still just as pretty 😊 #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #GrowLights #BlooingSuccs #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Echeveria #Anacampseros #Pachyphytum #Graptosedum #CalicoHearts

I wanted to share with you guys that Cali my ‘Graptosedum California Sunset’ has grown a bloom on one the branches it grew over the summer. Sadly I didn’t get a picture while I was at my mom’s today, so I’ll make sure I get one tomorrow! I was just too excited I had to share, & maybe even build up the anticipation for tomorrow! 🤭🌼🙈 this plant has been so easy going, & has done well in ALL conditions, full sun, grow lights, & even cool temps. I got this plant from Walmart on clearance for 2$ when I started my succulent journey in the beginning of spring. It has been with me through my move from my apartment back to my moms, and has been a good sport throughout the entire time of having her. She has displayed a range of colors from bright orange in full sun, green in less sun, even orange & green in between. She was suffering from a fungal issue when I bought her, but she managed to push through & is now very healthy. Due to the infection I had to remove leaves, which in turn led too her growing offsets all over! She has been such an awesome plant to have & care for. I didn’t realize she was starting to form a bloom, I noticed that whatever was forming looked very different from leaves, but they were so small, I just assumed maybe she was growing another offset and that’s why it looked funny. But today I realized there are flowers forming! The first picture is the stalk that the flowers are growing from, however this was before she formed a bloom. I will make sure to post tomorrow to show you guys! But I just had to tell the good news. This is the firstt succulent to bloom in my care! Which makes me happy after the struggles in my oasis lately due to knats, and climate change. I assume the bloom has something to do with the fact she was outside up until recently due to freezing temps, & she was able to get a cooler period which can encourage blooming. She is now under my new grow light, & I watered her today. Should I fertilize her ? #SucculentSquad #BloomingSuccs #Graptosedum #Succulents #SucculentLove #NewGrowth #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GrowLights #OutdoorGrowing

So many babies ! It’s so exciting to watch them grow 🥹🌿 sanders (ghost plant) has one more tiny baby you can’t see (pic 1) pics 2&3 are of my graptosedum cali sunset, 4 is my panda plant, he’s been so easy, and carefree. I think they’re great starter succulents 👍🏼. And pic five are my props from when my cat, somehow mangled my ghost plant & graptoveria opalina (there were lots of broken leaves) But atleast they are growing new plants now ! What do you guys do with your props once they become become their own plant? They are super delicate, In that stage and I want to make sure I don’t kill them. 😳 #SucculentSquad #PandaPlant #NewGrowth #Succulents #PropagationStation #Propagation

Propagation ~cali sunset graptosedum So I have this stalk of Cali sunset graptosedum, that sadly rotted at the base of the stalk, it started to recover but got rained on again and just was over it. I decided to go ahead and cut, but it already had a baby growing on it prior to the chop. What would be the best was to go about propagating this plant ? Just leave it in a dry medium & remove remaining leaves ?

Let the propogating begin! This graptosedum was REALLY leggy when we inherited it a bit ago, so now that it's had a while to get used to being in my succulent window with good light and having its own pot with room to stretch out, it was time to chop off its head so I can make a full shiny pot of babies 😁 The graptoveria that came in the same succulent collection is next on the chopping block, but I'm giving him a bit longer to put out more non-etoliated growth first. #succulentlove #succulentsquad #whatthesuccwednesday #graptosedum #propagationstation #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #texasgreggang

How do I help this grow? #CaliforniaSunset Hey y’all, I’ve had this California Sunset for around 2 years. Unfortunately halfway through year 1, my bird ripped up the plant and I had to save it. I was successful, but it hasn’t grown at all 😕. Any tips? What should I do? #SucculentLove

This is a super fast grower, and I’ve successfully propagated at least 5 of its leaves without root hormone. However, no matter how little or how much I water this guy, it’s leaves have been splitting significantly. It’s started doing this out of nowhere, but at least I can propagate more of them to try out.
