About Variegated Arrowhead Vine
Syngonium podophyllum is a popular, easy-to-care-for houseplant with beautiful arrowhead shaped leaves. You’ll often see these plants grown in their juvenile stage, but given something to climb on and abundant sunlight you may see them mature into their adult stage! The leaf shape changes as they mature and may even appear to split into three individual leaves. In the wild they can climb up to 65 feet tall. Be sure to handle them with care, as their sap contains oxalic acid which can be very irritating to the skin and eyes. 👀

How to fertilize Variegated Arrowhead Vine
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Variegated Arrowhead Vine after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Hey guys how can you tell if your pot is too small? What should the root ball look like in comparison to the pot? #Syngonium

Hi, friends! I’ve been so MIA lately, I’m sorry! Been fighting thrips off, heavy casualties, mostly succulents 😭😭😭 but it’s finally starting to work and I haven’t seen a thrip in many days now. Going to continue treatment for three more weeks per instructions to make sure they are ALL GONE. Hate them so much! Silver lining: they killed so many of my plants that I now have a large deficit and that means I get to go plant shopping when this is all over, right?? 🤞🏻🛍️🪴 Anyway here are some recent pics. New leaves on albo syngo and philodendron billitiae, 🐞 friend on my green unicorn alocasia and my VSOH is getting SO LONG!! It was touching the floor when it was hanging in the window, so I put it in my skylight to give it more room to grow. 🌿💛 #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #SucculentLove #SucculentSquad #VariegatedStringOfHearts #variegatedplants #AlboSyngonium #Syngonium #SyngoniumSquad #TrailingPlants #BeneficialBugs #Philodendron #PhiloFlock #babevila #ArrowheadPlant

Last, late #FreshLeafFriday post. So proud of my Florida green and my syngonium albo. They're doing really well. My albo put out a more lobed leaf, and the bottom of my Florida green is growing well, too. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #philodendron #syngonium

What is wrong with my plant? I have no idea what’s wrong with my plant. I got it as a cutting sometime last year and I put it in soil once I saw good roots. What can I do to help it?

Aerial roots growing, not so much the other kind So I've been propagating this since June 12th, and some of the aerial roots seem to be growing but not the little roots at the bottom. Any suggestions on next steps? Let it grow? Wait for bottom roots? #arrowheadplant #syngoniumalbo #syngonium #propagationstation

Best way to propagate #Syngonium Hi! I have four various syngonium who are growing really well, but they’re kinda leggy. I want to see if I can #propagate more! Do they need a node like other cuttings? Will they do well to root in water? Looking for any tips. Hoping to chop and prop a batik, pink confetti, and this guy. Thanks!

There are tiny brown spots on the white areas of the leaves, please help, just brought home from local nursery today. They aren’t pests from what I can see, they do not rub off etc. already tried to clean the leaf #Syngonium

I neglected this plant VERY hard when I first got it 2 years ago. It was outside in perfect conditions but only got watered when I remembered. It was survival of the fittest and it has come out the other side! After a recent repot, moved inside and well looked after, it is thriving better than ever and is already spitting out leaves after 2 weeks.
Forever love this plant. Never give up on it
