Aerial roots growing, not so much the other kind

So I've been propagating this since June 12th, and some of the aerial roots seem to be growing but not the little roots at the bottom. Any suggestions on next steps? Let it grow? Wait for bottom roots?

Aerial roots are roots that grow into the air. While this plant’s roots are growing from the middle, they aren’t aerial roots, they are just regular roots. For reference, here are some of my plants with aerial roots.

But, when propagating I generally wait for at least three roots that are at least three inches long. Happy growing!
@midimonstera Good advise from both @PoisedAlbo and @Elk. But while aerial roots can grow in water, and many plants, like Monstera and Pothos, are commonly propagated this way. While aerial roots are naturally designed to absorb moisture from the air, they can adapt to and thrive in water, especially when used for propagation. However, it's crucial to maintain proper care to prevent root rot, which can occur if the roots are submerged for too long without oxygen!
