@captainstardust me too! 😭 my shivereana both have really crispy leaves, but I have two other rubber trees who live literally next to the shiv’s, and they’re happy as clams. I assume it’s a humidity issue? But like??? 😭
@captainstardust, I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing or just luck. But they seem to love the So. Illinois humidity, and I go water maybe once every other day or so. They're both doing well. Some ficus prefer different settings than others. My burgundy had to be moved to the front, as she was not liking the sun so much up front. She's since perked up more. My greens also prefer it up front. Maybe try moving yours?
@rebbieirl, both of my shivs are on my deck in my backyard, facing East, which gets morning and early afternoon sun. The humidity and lighting seems to be agreeable to them. I also water every other day or so, depending on their moisture level.
@wolfqueen ooh okay good to know! Mine defo have lots of light. Maybe they do need more water than I’m giving them? 🤔 I’ll move em closer to the humidifier too haha. Thanks!
