@plantstate it says Red Shouldered Hawk! We have coopers and peregrine falcons too in my area. And red tailed hawks 😁 I love seeing them!

I call this hawk, “The terror of tiny town “. These birds will eat anything that is their size a little bigger than themselves and little smaller. I think he’s scoping some of my birds at the birdfeeder. This photo was taken about 30 feet from the feeder. I haven’t seen a single bird around my feeder are all day. Just the hummingbirds which have their own feeders about 100 feet away. I have the hummingbird feeders set so nothing could strike them from above.
