#GregID wrong #TheWateringHole #GregGang #GregFeedback I have not been on because I keep finding wrong IDs to my cactus's. At least 10.... Just found another one. I get better answers from Google lens and it's for free..... I am not getting my money's worth so I'm deleting this app again..... It’s a holy day today! I’ve learned how to drill holes through glass, terracotta, and ceramic using a diamond drill. Hello plant friends ✨🌿💛 It’s Monday at #TheWateringHole and my Hoya sp aff burtoniae has BLOOMED!!! He smells delicious. To me he’s like an incredibly buttery caramel or butterscotch. But it’s so funny how scent is objective, I brought him to my kiddo to smell, and they said “smells like yogurt.” 🤨🤨🤯 YOGURT?? 🤣🤣 Anyhoo, enjoy the blooms. They are so very smol 🥹🤏 I have one more peduncle that should open soon, and just discovered 3 more in the works. Do you all have any planty plans for today? Today was plant Mail day. And I was able to add three new cacti to my collection! Now I’m going to wait 5 to 7 days then they will be repotted into Terracotta pots. Here they are as follows: 1) Rebutia Fiebrigii, 2) Mammillaria Senilis, 3) Mammillaria Duwei. With any luck they will all bloom next spring/summer, fingers crossed 🤞!! Then more pics will follow of course! I am hoping that this will be my last plant purchase for a while!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay safe!

Good morning plant enthusiasts!! 🪴 ☀️ 🌸🌲🍃🌵🌳🍁🪴🪻🌾 It’s It’s Saturday morning at #TheWateringHole I’m looking forward to checking in on the 16 plants Greg says need a little love today💚💦😃. So my daughter is moving and can’t take most of her plants with her. Ofc mom stepped in to *unselfishly* 🤪 allow her favorites to live here rent free 😆 until she can move them. OR….to permanently rehome them with me. Did I mention most are Hoyas?!?! Darn it 🤫🤭 (insert heavy sarcasm)!!! 😉😜 Most of her Hoyas I don’t have because the plan was to give each other cuttings. I guess I’ll be busy propping and transporting via ✈️ 🛩️. Anyhoo… she’s clearing out her plant supplies which included these 2 self watering pots. Who’s had experience with these? I’d love your feedback! And what plants did well or not so well in them? Hello everyone. I hope you are well. I’ve always prided myself identifying and photographing native plants and a few invasive ones too. As I had stated earlier, I’ve given up trying to fight the invasive plants here. I live right on the edge of a state Forest, in the rural south, where anything grows and anything goes. For those of you have never seen this one, it’s also a new one to me, this has been popping up in my yard by the dozens. This is called an elephant’s foot plant or devil‘s grandma. #TheWateringHole Hope everyone has had a happy hump day! I am vacationing in Savannah while my hubby is attends a conference. I did a lot of watering on Saturday and Sunday before we left. According to Greg, I’ll be doing a lot of watering when we get back tomorrow afternoon and on Friday while I’m still off work. Hope all my plants babies are OK and hopefully, I’ll see a new leaf or two! I have snapped some flower and plant pics on my walks around town. Anybody else check out the plant life on vacation? Good morning everybody. I hope you are well. I’ve been working out in my garden this morning and checking out some locations for a new birdfeeder. While doing that I discovered this plant growing. I checked it out on several apps and it says it is a dwarf pawpaw bush. I looked it up. It is a native to Florida and it grows in one county in Georgia, which is Camden County. In Georgia, it is considered to be critically imperiled 🤔 and only grows a few counties here. Here’s some information if you’re interested. 🧑‍🌾🌼Overview of Asimina pygmaea (dwarf pawpaw) Asimina pygmaea, commonly known as the dwarf pawpaw, is a species within the pawpaw family. While it produces flowers that can attract certain insects, it is not specifically recognized as a dedicated pollinator plant. Pollination Characteristics Flowering and Insect Attraction Flower Production: Asimina pygmaea produces flowers that may attract insects for pollination. Pollination Challenges: Like many pawpaw species, it faces challenges with limited fruit set due to pollination issues. General Pollination Issues in Pawpaws Self-Incompatibility: Many pawpaw species, including Asimina pygmaea, are likely self-incompatible, which means they require cross-pollination from other plants to set fruit effectively. Limited Pollinators: The flowers often attract specific insects, but the overall number of effective pollinators can be low, impacting fruit production. My broken ankle and the heat down here has decimated my succulent collection. My daughter has tried to keep up with the watering that with everything else she’s had to do taking care of me It just was impossible for her to give them all the attention I usually can do. So we brought them all inside and I had to toss the dead ones and try to salvage the limp ones and the ones that had dropped a lot of their lower leaves. So far it looks like some of them are coming back and pumping out, but I just heard on PBS that melatonin enhances the root growth of plants! Since I have a bottle of melatonin, and it doesn’t do me any good I think I’m going to try to make up the solution for these poor little babies that are root damaged I’m sure. If any of you have ever done this, let me know what you think and how you did it. Help! I received this snake plant in the mail about a 2 week ago, I put her outside for about an hour a day to get good sunlight. I I noticed these little light spots and a wrinkled leaf beside her.
