Have you considered branch training? It’s a very beautiful practice and won’t strain your tree in a detrimental way!

Yes I’m definitely looking into doing that! I wasn’t sure how young or old the tree would have to be in order to start.. would you know by any chance?😅

It’s good to start when they are younger from what I understand. They recommend using a red piece of string and you just wrap it around a heavier stone and place it with tension. You can use grooming wire too but that can cut in sometimes. I think yours is a great candidate for some pruning as well.
