i agree completely with @hoyahead! although you can probably train these to handle direct light conditions like monsteras.
about putting them outside really depends on what zone you live in, they preferably would like a humid climate but they definitely like a steady humidity.
main point is, i wouldn’t put this outside let alone in direct sunlight. there can be some exceptions to tiny bits of morning light but definitely never put this thing in afternoon sunlight for more than an hour.
