She was so excited to bring them over, and she reminded me I promised her she could have one of my caramel marble philodendrons, so she picked out which one, and I’m now acclimating to house conditions. So when they get back from a family vacation to Greenland (lucky ducks!), she’ll take it home. She told me today when she grows up she wants to be a landscape architect 🤣🫶🏻☺️🌸🐝 I love this girl. Here is my rubber plant. Is about six years old and grew to a height of 6 feet. Unfortunately, this winter it was annihilated by an extended frost we had in Central Florida. It was too heavy for me to move, to safety, so every evening I covered it up with multiple long blankets. Despite my best efforts, it was hit hard. While trimming it back, about a month and a half ago, I discovered there was new growth under all the dead stems. It’s growing back with a vengeance. First is a variegated billietiae, and second is a caramel marble fire tiger 🐅 Then I’m so excited to find a variegated piper nigrum! (Aka a black peppercorn plant!) I have a regular peppercorn vine that is climbing with my vanilla, so I’m excited to add this to my other variegated vanilla and now variegated peppercorn! Yay!
