Plant Collectionā€¦ been through so much trials with my plants. I have lost a lot throughout the journey but i have finally gotten to a stage where all i see is growth. Just wanted to share one of my favorites :) My parents planted this Japanese Red Cut Maple Tree in 1988ā€¦. Yes sheā€™s really 38 years old. And Iā€™ve watched it grow for 23 of those years now. Happy Monday! I unfortunately canā€™t seem to shake the rust fungus off of my Monstera Mint. I have been doing treatments with captain jacks for a little over a month now. (Spraying the entire plant once every 9 days)- and thereā€™s still ALOT of new fungal growth. The fungus is only on the small leaves- the 2 largest leaves are untouched, including the newest leaf. My issue is, itā€™s on the 5 smaller leaves. And thereā€™s only 7 leaves total. So I canā€™t clip these off. The plant is super healthy and beautiful otherwise. Any suggestions? Work Area! Ok yā€™all- we get to see all your beautiful plants and flowers. I want to see your ā€œworkā€ area! LOL I have SO much stuff that I literally have 6 different places to store it, or have handy. OMG!! They are rooting!! I never done this before, can someone help guide me? I want to make a plant and give it to my cousin.. and I forgot which leaves these little ones are from! I'll see once they grow up. I never watered them because someone told me not to do I left it be. When should I water them and change them into a bigger pot? Is this normal after first repotting? I got this orchid in May and repotted it after all the blooms dropped. Last water before today was the soak after repotting 10 days ago. It lives in the corner of two windows that get good sun but itā€™s not direct. A leaf at the bottom is yellowing, it looks like one above that is curling under, and the big one is drooping. Are these normal adjustments after repotting or is she heading south? #NewPlantMom #OrchidLovers

This beautiful discoloration appeared on my monstera deliciosa leaf almost 4 weeks ago. When I first saw it I said ā€œWOW THAT IS BEAUTIFULā€ until I quickly remembered my deliciosa is not veriagatedšŸ˜­ I got very nervous for her. Here we are almost 4 weeks later- the patch has not changed size or color, the leaves are still beautifully glossy and firm, no brown edges or crispy tips, no wet tissue, and is actively growing and completely attached to the moss pole with aerial roots. My research told me this can happen for a multitude of reasons, and also that the leaf could basically be unbothered even with that spot. Ever seen or heard of that before? I donā€™t knew what caused it, but Iā€™m gonna take it as luck.
