Is this normal after first repotting?
I got this orchid in May and repotted it after all the blooms dropped. Last water before today was the soak after repotting 10 days ago. It lives in the corner of two windows that get good sun but it’s not direct. A leaf at the bottom is yellowing, it looks like one above that is curling under, and the big one is drooping. Are these normal adjustments after repotting or is she heading south? #NewPlantMom #OrchidLovers
2ft to light, indirect
7” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 days ago

I think everything is looking good, especially after being transplanted. The lower leaf yellowing is normal, it could just be shedding it (let it fall off naturally if it keeps yellowing).
Orchid bark doesn’t hold water that long, so keep an eye on it. That 10 days between watering might be pushing it, hence the dropped leaf.
Other than that, looks like it’s in excellent health, keep up the good plant care!
@FamedGymealily thanks so much! I’ll try going back to once a week like before transplanting. I was waiting longer because I thought the soaking would take longer to dry out than the ice cubes I had been doing.
I’ve got two only in orchid bark, and they dry out around 4 days. I figured the same, it would last longer.
And definitely stay away from that ice cube myth, it does more harm than good.
Hope the leaves perk up and you start to see some new roots and growth soon!
