@FunGuepinia Is the soil kept consistently moist? Does the plant get 5-6 hours of direct sunlight? You could propagate the plant: Propagate via 6-8 inch stem cuttings in spring/summer, rooted in moist soil or sand with high humidity (using a plastic bag covering). Can you provide a trellis for the plant they like to climb??
That legginess is your plant asking for more light. I would chop and prop like @Ms.Persnickety suggested!
