Hey #greggers #greggang

I specifically requested him to be sent as a 'baby', as much as I could handle, of course - it took over a month, but now I finally see something sprucing out. I am simply in love with this one. Can't wait for it to grow and fill the pot with its beautiful curvy lines!

Oh these are going to be such beauties! Aglaonema plants enjoy a bit of humidity. Spraying some water on your plant every now and then can help keep the air around it nice and moist.
@HappyPlantBFF no worries on this front! Humidifier always ready for them and for my rose calatheas, as well as some spraying. I am addicted to aglos! Thank you so much!!
@HappyPlantBFF and yes, I cannot WAIT for them to grow. I also want to get a ‘pride of Sumatra’ soon, which is kinda sorta similar looking, but this one has most of my love
Some more pics of this beauty!
@Gustavo I might have to consider adding one to my bathroom...if I can find the room 😆 🤣 hopefully they won't raise in price as much as chocolate is becoming 🍫🍫🍫
@Seymour it will like the humidity too!! Nice choice man! Just make sure (speaking from experience LOL) to find a pot that doesn’t slip if it gets a bit wet so the plant doesn’t keep falling over. Damn my mom went through some hard times with me and plants in bathrooms…
@Gustavo I just added some live sphagnum moss to my Nepenthes pots to add a bit of a humidity boost for them! I'll keep the pot in mind as I am notorious for dropping things LOL a hard floor doesn't help !!! Your mum can be proud that any broken pots were worth it given your love of plants. Thanks for bringing them to my attention. 👍😀
@Gustavo what kind of water do you put in the humidifier?
@SUNSHiNEPLANTS my specific humidifier instructions mention only tap, no purified water, so I follow that. However I must admit that is a bit of research I have not yet done! Good one - will look into it, if it causes any different effects on plants etc.
@Gustavo I tried to catch rain water yesterday and ended up with an empty bucket somehow, confusing and disappointing. NYC tap has much fluoride in it, hoping the plant enjoy it! Lol
