She looks okay! Donβt be too worried.
However, I keep a mini-guide for new Rose Calathea owners for Greg with me at all times, and if you donβt mind, Iβll leave it here:
So, I've had one for 8 months now. She's thriving, but she's not easy.
1 - She's an amazonian plant used to 80% humidity. So you need to consider that. Buy a humidifier and/or mist her every day to keep humidity levels high.
2 - DO NOT let her under direct sunlight under any circumstances. Consider putting her behind some other plant/object to prevent the sun from hitting her directly.
3 - Only water her with rainwater and/or water that has been sitting out for about 24h hours. She's sensitive to some chemicals in the water, so you need to give it time for them to evaporate.
4 - Keep a regular watering and fertilizing schedule.
5 - If you see some brown edges, that's normal. Don't panic. It's hard. If you see brown leaves, you have a humidity/watering problem.
That's the basics, I guess.

She looks like she has some damage of the leaves but otherwise looks healthy. I also have one of these plants and my leaves donβt fully droop down during the day either. I have some damage on some of my leaves which was a result of over fertilizing last month but otherwise, my plant is very healthy and shooting out new leaves almost daily. I think your plant is good. I remove the damaged leaves on mine once a new leaf shoots out to replace it. They really are gorgeous plants but can be very temperamental!!
Drama Queen personified! I found mines sweet spot...bottom shelf, humidifier in front of shelf directing spray over the three queens...and now all three sit on their throwns..happily laughing at the frustration they put me through π....I can't tell you the amount of panic modes they inflicted on me...
@Lbabylee LOL itβs hard but I think I got lucky with mine
