By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Aeonium 'Emerald Ice' after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Does anyone know what kind of Echeveria this may be? Thanks 🌱

Is my aeonium getting too much sun? I got this beautiful “emerald ice” aeonium a few weeks ago. At the time, it had a main area and a smaller side growth, both relatively flat. Over the last few weeks both have grown upwards. But the smaller shoot has all but died and the larger one has half dead black leaves when I lift the uppermost ones. It’s outdoors and gets about 5 hours of direct sunlight a day, watered every 2 weeks (per the app’s suggestion). Not sure if it’s getting too much sunlight, or if there is some other issue, or if this is normal. Any ideas?

Sick Aeonium I got this guy who was the healthiest looking one at the time but since I’ve brought him home he’s lost a LOT of leaves. I don’t know what’s the cause of it. He has enough sunlight and water. I repotted him but he continued to lose leaves. He also won’t absorb any of the water that has been given. I don’t want to overwater him so I haven’t been able to water him recently. What am I supposed to do? #SucculentSquad #Succulents #Aeonium #sickplants #help

Hello everyone! My old Aeonium called Tina is getting better right now. Although she is still not good as first i bought her , she's the way better than 6 months ago. They look more live and lushly now. Still, I'm a bit sad cause her biggest branch is so withered :( Please help me find the problem for her. Love you all🩷✨️ #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #succulentlove #aeonium

Are these runners? This tentatively-identified Aeonium diplocyclum has been in flower since last July. The plant is monocarpic and has really been making a show of it! If correctly identified, this plant rarely pups. And, indeed, it never pupped from the base. However, some of these rosettes really don’t look like flowers. Could it have runners among its blooms? It can’t hurt to put some in soil, so I’ll give it a shot. #Aeonium #monocarpic #DeathBloom #runners #PropagationStation #Propagation

Tips for propagating Tree Aeonium? I have my black tree Aeonium outside on my porch, and he fell over in a bad wind storm and broke. :( I let it callous a bit, and stuck it back into the dirt next to the stem. I figure at least the stem will grow back something and maybe even the top will root as well. It's been about a week and it's not dead or dying and seems firm to the touch as it should be. Has anyone done this before? 😅 He is in quite nice succulent/cactus soil that I made myself. 1:1:1 soil, chunky perlite, coarse sand. #aeonium #treeaeonium #plantaddict #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulents #jesssjungle #propagationstation

Howdy! Does anyone know what succulent this is? I'm doubtful of what was suggested to me, and I couldn't find it on Google either. Thanks in advance! 🙏 #Aeonium

It was watering day for my succulent gardens so I also did some maintenance cleaning up fallen leaves and pruning some of the fast growers. Loving the yellow flowers from Irish Bouquet but sadly having a hard time keeping them alive. You can see the empty patch on one and the other arrangement lost almost all of its Irish Bouquet. Any suggestions keeping it alive or on other good ground cover plants? #succulentsquad #succulentlove #succulents #arrangements #succulentarrangements #irishbouquet #aeonium

Juneuary - will my aeonium be ok? I put Anohni outside in April when the weather had reasonably warmed up (PNW 🇨🇦) and she's been loving it. Her leaves have gotten extremely pink! Photos below are from today plus one photo on my kichen table from April before she went outside for comparison. But today it's raining and my apartment balcony gets a questionable amount of rain. Since it's pretty close to her scheduled watering date, I thoroughly watered her (after the moisture meter said it was barely damp) and tucked her away from the edge of the balcony so she's not consistently rained on. I'm hoping this one time doesn't end up as root rot. I've only had her for almost a year and I'm pretty pleased with how well she's done (even though she burned a little last summer). Anything else I can do during #juneuary? Happy Friday #GregGang 😎🌿 I’m looking forward to this 3-day weekend. I did some repotting/upgrading today, two of them were sick not to long ago but seem to be bouncing back now, thank the Plant Gods! 🤭 1. Kiwi Aeonium, moved from a 3 inch glazed clay pot to a 5 inch terracotta pot, I also moved it back outside in my screened in porch. 2. Pearl Echeveria, recently was chopped and propped after it got to much rain & rotted, I was able to re-root & it’s now taking well to being back In a pot & back outside, It’s now in a 3 inch glazed clay pot. 3. Graptoveria Titubans Variegata, this one was also chopped & propped after its stem rotted & it flopped over after a lot of rain, I re-rooted under grow lights, put it in a 1 inch terracotta pot till it had enough roots to be moved into a 3 inch terracotta pot. It was also moved back outdoors onto my shaded porch as well. 4. Echeveria Compressicaulis, moved this up to a 3.5 inch terracotta pot & also moved to an area with more shade instead of direct sun all day. 5. Peanut Cactus, this cutie was actually repotted last week, into a 3.5 inch terracotta pot, its babies are getting so big, it only was one piece when I got it almost a year ago, (it had no pups/arms). This one has become one of my favorites. #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #GrowingSuccs #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent #SuccerForSucculents #Echeveria #Graptoveria #CactusClique #Cactus #Cacti #PeanutCactus #Aeonium #KiwiAeonium #repotting #repotted #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation #Propagation
