It was watering day for my succulent gardens so I also did some maintenance cleaning up fallen leaves and pruning some of the fast growers. Loving the yellow flowers from Irish Bouquet but sadly having a hard time keeping them alive. You can see the empty patch on one and the other arrangement lost almost all of its Irish Bouquet. Hello everyone! My old Aeonium called Tina is getting better right now. Although she is still not good as first i bought her , she's the way better than 6 months ago. They look more live and lushly now. Still, I'm a bit sad cause her biggest branch is so withered :( Please help me find the problem for her. My oldest #Aeonium (Aeonium garnet) is in the process of death blooming!💀🪦 🌸 Photos 1-3 track its progress between Jan 6th and now. The last photo shows some of its many offsets, which will carry on its legacy once it leaves us for the great garden in the sky lol 😛 An interesting little factoid: Most Aeoniums are monocarpic, which means they only flower once in their lifetime. Flowering is like a last hurrah, using up all its remaining energy. Succulent Updates🌿 1&4. Not sure the , but has a bloom that’s forming. I didn’t even know these could bloom, so I’m excited to see for sure. I wasn’t expecting to to bloom either it’s like it formed over night.🌸 2. Graptoveria ‘Debbie’ has grown fast & putting off babies, I repotted her this week.🌱 3. Old arrangent..because A variety of Pachyveria, Echeveria, Pachyphytum & Sedeveria. Haven’t posted this particular arrangement in a while, they may need a repot as well. 🪴 5. My Kiwi Aeonium is recovering from damage nicely, and it also stating To grow a baby so that’s nice. I thought this one was a goner a while back but she has recovered is doing much better lol. Some pretty variegated babies & an arrangement I put together this week! 🌱 1. Kiwi Aeonium (I have had this one for a while, she had two siblings but sadly they didn’t make it). My mom revived this one for me and It is now back in my care. She has fostered quite a few of my succulents for me😊 2. New variegated Jade, I have a bigger version from my local nursery, and this one is from my local big box store. I wonder if they will preform any differently? 🤔 3. New Anacampseros Sunrise, I have two of these now. My other is much taller, as if I’ve had it much longer. It was this size when I first got it. This new baby has 2 blooms on it, hopefully I will get to see them open since my other has never bloomed. 🌸 4. Arrangement I put together, with my clearance pot from walmart. When I finished it fit four echeverias, a sedum, & a kalanchoe. 5. Two more variegated varieties I found when I went shopping, an elephant bush, and string of buttons 🌿👍🏼 I’ve had a string of buttons before, that grew super tall, but I lost them to a hard frost! Some new succulents I got this week! 🥳🌿💕 I also found two pots on clearance at Walmart! The grey one in picture 1 was on sale for $3.00, (this is my second one they are perfect for arrangements) and the one in photo 5 I got for $12.50 (originally $17.50). My new plants include the following- crassula string of buttons, variegated elephant bush, anacampseros sunrise, variegated jade, kiwi Aeonium, giant jewel plant, and echeveria elfstone. I was able to throw together some arrangements, and planted one tier of my succulent tower.
