Is this rot or scale?
Just got Boulder for Christmas and I noticed these 2 days spots how do I treat?

It doesn't look like scale, but it does look like damage / scarring. If it's hard and your cactus is firm, it should be fine ( if it's squishy.....not so much). I would spray for mites to be sure - I found spider mites lurking under the scars on one of my cacti. I use Bioadvanced mite spray for houseplants.
