Hello my loves! 🥰🌿 It’s #untidytuesday at the #TheWateringHole and holy moly I’m just realizing I don’t think I’ve posted in over a week! 😱 Not intentional, it was rather a hard last couple weeks. Busy/Easter madness/emotional roller coaster. 🎢 Now I just want to take a nap 😴 But I also have 41 plants 🪴 to check in on first 😮💨
The other night I sleep-bought a new fertilizer. Okay I *was* vaguely aware of what I was doing but I thought I just put it in my cart…nope! It arrived next day LOL! Anyhoo, if you’re in the market for a good organic fertilizer that literally smells like chicken poo 💩 , boy have I got you covered! But it helped me realize that even though my usual superthrive foliage pro is a vibrant green color—it DOESN’T smell like poo 💩 🙌 That is a HUGE plus to me I never realized, and wow, I totally took that for granted!
Here’s some things going on in my neck of the woods. My beautiful begonia maculara flowering, again! Mushroom kit growing. the fertilizer. And some of my little seedlings! What do you all have going on for this Tuesday afternoon?

Ha ha oh the poops! 💩 The only time you are grateful for the ‘runs’ 🤪 Definitely add it to your strawberries 🍓 They will go crazy for it! Your begonia is so pretty; is it a crack’in rose? (I think that’s the correct name; I’ve got one as well that I absolutely love 🥰) What 💩’s did you get; was it an Amazon purchase? Sooo .. I’ve been out planting my almond trees that got delivered today. They even showed up with some almonds growing on them. Since they were already shredded, I decided to open a shell and look at them. Runi was nice enough to assist me. 🤣🤣 Ted’s guarding my new plants from our plant, Miss Sweet Saga. She’s a chewer, so we have to fence them off from her. She basically just freezes if we catch her; almost like if she doesn’t move, we won’t see her. She’s a Great Dane mastiff mix. You can’t miss her. 🤣🤦♀️🫶🏻🩵🐝🌻

And yep, got 💩 from AMZN, Espoma Organic. I know I’ve purchased them in the past, and they’re a really good company, I just don’t remember it being *quite* so fragrant 😂 Yes the strawberries will loooooove it 🍓. Our best years for strawberries, when I was struggling to contain them in a 9 ft by 3 ft raised bed 😱 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓 was when we had 6 hens! 🐓

@Idplantthat oh and I think I just have a more generic ‘silver spot’ maculata. The spots are quite silver, and don’t have any hints of pink 🤔
@DreamMachine oh whoa, 🤯 okay, I wonder if it’s a hybrid begonia? I love begonias though, they are such cool plants. 🪴 I got three almond trees; 🌳 two in the backyard along the pathway; and one along the driveway. Between the olives 🫒 and the jujubes. 🤣 I want to see these amazing strawberries! 🍓 🍓🍓 9ft by 3 ft that’s not a small planter! They sound like they are loving life; how are your chickens not getting all of them? Ha ha ha what kind of strawberries are you doing? Do you have any of the white strawberries?? 🍓 Ted’s the best; he’s so dang cute and sweet. He’s everyone’s best friend; even if you don’t like him; it’s cool 😎 he’ll be your bestie. Just know he’s going to try to eat your face. Everything ends up in Ted’s mouth.. 🤦♀️ and if you are a puppy 🐶 he will try to mother you; Ted is a wonderful momma. (Better than our Great Dane was 🤣)
