Philodendron can tolerate being far from a window and light source.
Place it less than 6 feet from a south-facing window to ensure it receives enough light to survive 💪.

How to fertilize Philodendron
![Nutrient, fertilizer, and repotting needs for Philodendron: repot after 2X growth](https://media.greg.app/static/plantx-website-assets/care-pages/nutrient-graphic.jpg?format=pjpeg&optimize=medium&auto=webp&width=600)
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Philodendron after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Is she too dry? #Philodendron #PinkPrincessPhilodendron I got my plant just 2 weeks ago and she looked all perky and happy. Now her leaves are limp and droopy. Normally it’s a sign of overwatering, I think? I have been following Greg’s suggestion to water her every 9 days but I wonder if it enough? She is so dry that I can lift her from the pot. Also, even though PPP likes smaller pots, I keep wondering if the teeny-tiny pot is enough?

Help! Pinky Princess Pants is fading fast #pinkprincessphilodendron This pink princess philodendron is giving me some troubles. Her leaves are droopy and soggy looking. I didn't think I was over watering it, but maybe I am? Any suggestions would be great. I do notice a few little healthy baby leaves growing, so that at least gives me a bit of hope.

I’ve been really surprised to see many of my plants popping out new leaves in the past week, but this one from my #WhiteKnightphilodendron has really been exciting to watch. I’ve only had him since early December, and this is the second leaf he’s put out, but it’s coming out all white! I didn’t know they would do that! (Yes, I’ve seen it all over now that I’ve started looking. 😆) I just get a little giddy every time I look at it and it’s not even opened up yet. 😍🌱💗 (Also I just realized that it looks like he has eyes, so maybe he’s staring right back at me. 🥰) #FreshLeafFriday #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #NewPlantMom #TropicalPlants #Philodendron #

Crystals? Today, I noticed that some of my Ring of Fire Philodendron leaves have these weird, slightly sticky crystal things on the bottom. The top of the leaves with them have spots as well. Google says they could be nectar or they could be pests. What are y'all's thoughts? He's been super happy, and I want to keep him that way. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #greggershelpinggreggers #philodendron #pests #help

I have one leaf that has gone limp is turning brown, I checked the soil and it is not too damp. I was wondering what else could cause this and if I should do anything with the leaf (i.e. remove it or support it) #Philodendron
