Growth is just goin crazy right now. I know it must be close to root bound. Not the best pics either really but that much variegation had me staggering lol no fruit or blooms currently it’s in growth phase. Pulled fruit last month variegated pink lemon on left Persian lime on right. had to show the fruits because the colors you can see the stripes a lot more before it’s not fully ripe and starts turning yellow definitely puts on a show I really enjoy this plant 🪴  #HappyPlants #NewGrowth #variegatedplants #Citrus

I got free tradescantia from Under the Sun 🤩🤩 And not just piddly little pieces, either—big LONG trailing pieces that had broken off of potted plants! Hello everyone, I hope you had a great day. When I got back home today, the first thing I did was check my milkweed. All the aphids were gone. I did spray Neem oil on them earlier before my original post. Thank you so much for all your help. I truly appreciate it.🪴🌻🧑‍🌾, I took a spray hose and sprayed the plants thoroughly. Monstera growing SO fast. The plant on the right is my mother plant. I propagated 3 cuttings about 2-3 months ago, and put them in soil on July 10th. Yesterday I had to repot them because the roots were growing out the top and bottom. A month?!?!? Had anyone else had props grow this fast? Here is something that, to me, was a bit distressing. I rarely go into a big box nursery. These days I buy most of my plants at local nurseries and propagate the rest. Today I went into the Walmart nursery looking for bricks for my walkway. I noticed a cart in there that was full of hanging basket plants. There was a sign on them stating that they were going to dispose of them today. I asked the guy in the garden section if “they were going give them away or sell them at a discount. I would buy several of them and save them”. The nursery guy said “Walmart does not give anything to anybody and if they sell them , they will sell them at full price”. The garden section/nursery guy was empathetic when he said it.What a waste. I know I could’ve saved most of those plants easily. Walmart would rather throw a whole cart of ,good, plants away rather than mark them down. In my opinion, that’s very spiteful. Hello friends! 🤗 I had to pick up these two beauties on my last stop at Home Depot! 🌱💚 I’ve recently become really interested in bonsai, and I had no idea you could create bonsai from such a variety of plants! I’m hoping to blend these two together and experiment with creating a beautiful bonsai from them. I honestly don’t know exactly how it will turn out, but I’m excited to see where this little project takes me! 🌳✨ If any of you have experience growing or caring for bonsai, I would absolutely appreciate any feedback, advice, or tips you’re willing to share. Good morning everyone. Thank you for answering my question about the  oleander aphids .Yesterday morning when I went outside to check on my garden, I found 100s of seeds sprouting for my butterfly garden. It was amazing how quickly they sprouted. I already have native milkweed, Florida Paintbrush, Firespike, Blanket plants, scarlet that are established and scarlet sage. Hello everyone, I hope you’re well. I usual it’s another scorching hot with more humiliating humidity in central Florida. I found these on one of my milkweed plants. At first, I thought there were egg clusters from possibly a monarch butterfly so I didn’t disturb them. However, I’ve been noticing they have not been making any kind of change at all. I identified them. These are Oleander aphids. Tiny little yellow/orange bugs with black legs. I just doused them with a Neem oil. I made a positive identification through three separate apps. Here’s is my favorite app I’ll share here. It will help identify almost any bugs you find in your garden. Happy Monday! I unfortunately can’t seem to shake the rust fungus off of my Monstera Mint. I have been doing treatments with captain jacks for a little over a month now. (Spraying the entire plant once every 9 days)- and there’s still ALOT of new fungal growth. The fungus is only on the small leaves- the 2 largest leaves are untouched, including the newest leaf. My issue is, it’s on the 5 smaller leaves. And there’s only 7 leaves total. So I can’t clip these off. The plant is super healthy and beautiful otherwise. Any suggestions?
