I’m very new to the plant community! My first one is this monstera plant that I got two months ago. I’ve noticed that my plants stems are turning a different shade of green and the edges of the leaves are turning yellow as well. I finally got one of my DREAM PLANTS. I was at Trader Joe’s today and saw this absolute beautiful Thai constellation monstera for 12$!!!!! They had other ones with fenestrations already but they weren’t really healthy at all, so I went for this younger healthier one. I can’t wait to see its journey! I’m going to let it settle in my room for a bit before replacing the soil mix, it came in just peat moss, so I plan on replacing it with a very chunky and breathable mix. Did I have the space for this plant… noy really. does moving furniture around create space? Absolutely. #Monstera #PlantHaul

We recently moved one Monstera to a place with less light. Despite the move, he's putting off like 3 new leaves ya'll! Two biggies and a small. How exciting! We'll move our other one outside for the summer once we start getting company. The guest room is the jungle room during winter months. 🪴 It really liked the outside world last year, so I'm hoping for the same result this year. It was a nub of mushy trash last year. Mother nature took over and made him the beautiful beast it is today. I'd really love to get my hands on an Albo, but I guess my Thai Constellations can satisfy that need, for now... hehehe. #monstera #monsteramob #happyplants #newgrowth
