root rot in water help

Question

my thai was root rotting so i changed her to water, its been three days and her roots are squishy now (they look brow bc of dirt but they are white) should i cut all the roots off? i don't what to do pls help:(

Try Leca and just enough water for the roots to stay moist.

Any roots that are mushy need to be cut off. Then soak what’s left of the roots in a hydrogen peroxide solution for 5-10 minutes. It will pop bubble and fizz because it’s killing the bacteria. The solution is:

-1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to
-3 parts water

-1 part 3% hydrogen peroxide to
-3 parts water

@carola Monsteras prefer soil to being water grown. You would have much better results with soil. That is what I would do if it were my plant. Good Luck!🪴🌺
