Did I put the support in the right spot?
This is my monstera Thai conn. And I’m worried I put the support wrap in the wrong spot. It seems it maybe cut into the bottom and the one part has turned yellow since. Does it need to be higher? #Monstera

@KookyNikkofir31 No, this is good here, you do not want another strap higher up because you want the petiole to be able to move freely. Once it grows more you always attach ties to ONLY the stem, not the petioles. 🤗
@KookyNikkofir31 also don’t worry about those brown dried spots of the petioles, those are normal. The sheaths protect the baby leaf as it grows, and when the leaf unfurls the sheaths usually turn brown and crispy, having done their job.
