Hello my loves! 🥰🌿 It’s #untidytuesday at the #TheWateringHole and holy moly I’m just realizing I don’t think I’ve posted in over a week! 😱 Not intentional, it was rather a hard last couple weeks. Busy/Easter madness/emotional roller coaster. 🎢 Now I just want to take a nap 😴 But I also have 41 plants 🪴 to check in on first 😮‍💨 The other night I sleep-bought a new fertilizer. Okay I *was* vaguely aware of what I was doing but I thought I just put it in my cart…nope! It arrived next day LOL! Anyhoo, if you’re in the market for a good organic fertilizer that literally smells like chicken poo 💩 , boy have I got you covered! But it helped me realize that even though my usual superthrive foliage pro is a vibrant green color—it DOESN’T smell like poo 💩 🙌 That is a HUGE plus to me I never realized, and wow, I totally took that for granted! Here’s some things going on in my neck of the woods. My beautiful begonia maculara flowering, again! Mushroom kit growing. the fertilizer. And some of my little seedlings! Share what’s happening with you & your oasis?? 🌱🪻🪴🏝️ 😮‍💨 29 plants here 🏡 need a little look 👀 see today🫣 - 19 left over from Wednesday so must get caught up. But I’ve been distracted with Day Lilies 🌱🌱🎉. Introducing my newbies! Got inspired here by someone who has fields of tulips 🌷 🌷 🌷 🌷 and other bulbs… can’t remember who it is 🤷‍♀️ … maybe @Ponytailmom or @Idplantthat … plus @DreamMachine Nadia, I’m pretty sure we’ve talked about day lilies too 👍🙌. Got tempted by these barerooted bebes 👶 when purchasing a new orchid grow light from rePotme. I know I didn’t do it it *by the book*📕 but sometimes I have to just throw myself into something! Caution to the wind 💨 lol. This is how I’m rolling! I don’t want to watch a kabillion videos I’m just goin’ in hot! 🤪😜😹🫠 Many succulents were in this garden. I kept the flap jacks, portulacaria elephant bush and some of the aeonium. What was underneath was very sandy and compacted so I amended with planting mix, stuck them in the ground, gave them a big drink & said goodnight 🌙😴. This morning they’re already perkier!! So are you the type that has to go by the book & research before starting 📕 🔬 or do you just have to wing it 🪽 and do what the moment feels like/hope you made a good decision type?? Good Saturday morning to all visitors to #TheWateringHole ☀️. It’s a gorgeous Easter Saturday here 🌸🪻🌷🐣🐰. Our daughter and SIL are celebrating her 40th bday in FL to swim with the manatees so we are on our own this weekend + the grandpup 🐕 Daphne 😊. It’s so funny, she outweighs Pearl by 20 pounds but the chihuahua rules!🫅🧝‍♀️🦸‍♀️🤪 Pearl in Charge! Haven’t posted much this week mainly because each day seemed to get away from me 🏃‍♀️. I had a really exciting time last Sunday finally breaking my no more 🪴 🪴 🪴 rule!!! @DreamMachine had mentioned that she had success with FB Marketplace so I just “happened” to scroll through 😆 and found an Open House at someone’s home, but it was for the day before 😭! So asked her if she was planning another and she invited me to come over that day! I went looking for Hoya compacta veriegated, didn’t have 😔. But I found these beauties instead 🎉 displayed so uniquely on the dryer in the garage 😝😑🤷‍♀️. Photo session on schedule for weekend👍🙌 Very excited about Sunrise, Chelsea and big leaf fungii. She gave me the tiny Mathilde free and threw in cuttings from her Krinkle 8 💰 Pics also of new growth on Raven ZZ 🐦‍⬛- it’s soooo green! The Amazing ZZ! I had to share this bc it’s really quite incredible!! Today is the first time I’ve watered this ZZ plant since 01.25.25. Yes, you read that correctly and no, it is not a typo!!! The last time I watered this plant was 1 year, 2 months, and 16 days ago!!!! How wild is that!!! My Philodendron Ring of Fire is unfurling a new leaf!! I can't wait! The variegation and leaf shape are both so cool. This will be my first new leaf on this guy, as he is a new addition from a local greenhouse. #PhilodendronBirkinEvian Has anyone else heard of this new cultivar? I just received it yesterday in the mail from Logee's. I'd been on the waiting list for 4 months... It's very compact and mainly the white of the Birkin... We went to the city today and passed by a plant nursery that was having a closing sale, so we went in and looked around! It was HUGE! I got a handful of plants, but these are my favorites. A Gymnocalycium Lukasikii (the cactus) and a Pepperomia Rosso. Good Tuesday afternoon to all at #TheWateringHole 🪴 ☀️!! We had a bright sunny morning ☀️ Clouds ☁️ are now rolling in which makes for a calmer, quieter afternoon along the coast 😌. Went to a horse show last week 😁 🐴 in Burbank. Home now to 💦 and catch up!! Here’s what’s happening: Hoya tricolor wayetii in full flower peduncle mode!! There are 2 flowers out and at least a dozen pedunkadunks 🌸! For the orchid set up I added a second grow light, one on bottom now too. You know, it’s all about the orchids🤪😜😆. Not done arranging and rearranging yet, that’ll take a few days for me to stop fussing 🤫🫠🫥. Next up a new leaf on the Congo Red 😘❤️ love him. And for #untidyTuesday my Blue Star fern that’s been stuck between neutral and reverse for months!! Threw a personal grow light on her to see if that’s what’s ailing her?? Not sure if it’s springtime or the light but there’s growth 🙌 What’s been happening in your world 🌎 🪴 lately. I just wanted to show off my Thai constellation #Monstera I’ve had her I think about a week now and I’ve been soo happy with the progress. I bought it with a new leaf unfurling and was a little worried about it acclimating while supporting the new growth but it’s turning out even more beautiful than I anticipated. Feeling so lucky😩 I’ve got a stick from outside supporting it right now but I think I’ve decided I’m going to let it crawl in a rectangular pot instead of force it vertical😬 my goal is a huge monstera.. wish me luck lol Little photographical timeline to go with lol (hope they don’t turn sideways😬😪) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict
