Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here is my rubber plant. Is about six years old and grew to a height of 6 feet. Unfortunately, this winter it was annihilated by an extended frost we had in Central Florida. It was too heavy for me to move, to safety, so every evening I covered it up with multiple long blankets. Despite my best efforts, it was hit hard. While trimming it back, about a month and a half ago, I discovered there was new growth under all the dead stems. It’s growing back with a vengeance. They kept begging me to leave Mom, and have their own place, so I put all 3 sisters Together ❤️ and relented. I normally don’t do a veggie garden at my house and generally stick to growing fruits and herbs, but this year I decided to reuse some retired recycled old bins. I lost like half the screws, and they look utterly terrible. Luckily, no one can see them in my backyard behind my old shed (built in 1947) and my greenhouse. I was worried about finding a way to keep my blackberries away from tomatoes and/or my raspberries away from them as well. Being in the nightshade family, they will not grow well together. 😬🤦‍♀️ With that being said, I’m so excited, we are already getting peppers, we have the cutest tiny orange tomatoes. With a bell pepper 🫑 that looks like the cutest little bum cheeks you wanna pinch! 🤏 or a giant green tooth. 🦷 😂 But the patch next to them, as some needs I needed to plant up.. so we’ll see, purple broccoli, artichokes, and some crock neck lumpy squash (my favorite thing to fry up in summer). So these 2 leaves fell off one of the free plants 🪴 that recently got. They are a very light green and the hoya the came off of was super soaked. Maybe the will root maybe the won't 🤷‍♀️ We shall see. The darker green already has roots. She has been in the egg for 4 months now. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #hoyahangout

Hoya delivery 🪴 🌱 I ordered 2 plants and she sent 2 free plants. So I ordered the hoya sunrise and the other one with the really long name is can't pronounce. The hoya fish tail and the other one (?) was free. Any ideas on what the other one is? Google said Hoya Merilli? 🤷‍♀️ #happyplants #hoyahangout

Good morning planty people of #TheWateringHole ✨🌿🫶 It is Monday, and I’m busy hurrying around watering everyone outside, as it’s lovely and 60° right now, but we’re supposed to get up to 85°, and if you know me, that is hot, hot, HOT 🥵 I am hoping to get back into the swing of regular posting, but I just had a very couple busy weeks, with picking up a regular shift at work, a trip to the coast 🌊 , and we’re getting into the last couple weeks of school for my kiddo. 🏃🏼‍♀️🍎⏰ But BIG NEWS!! We are on #pedunclewatch !!! 😱🥳🤩 Since I got into hoyas last summer, I’ve only had the start and subsequent blasting of a couple peduncles on one hoya, my crassipetiolata, but it was just the beginning of winter, and he got too cold and gave up on them. 🥶😔 Who’s the contender this time? My sweet Hoya ‘Bella,’ whom I got only last month, as a cutting in perlite, from my hoya lady on FB marketplace!! Bella is STILL in that cup of perlite, I didn’t get a chance to pot her up yet, and she has 3, count em’ THREE pedunkadunks starting 😱😮‍💨🤯🤩 As my photos will be peduncles, I’ll add my bountiful morning’s strawberry 🍓 harvest photo in the comments, along with my Mother’s Day snapdragon bloom, and my dahlias (not in bloom yet). How’s everyone’s Monday? Any blooms or new growth that you’re excited about? Any struggling? HAPPY JUNE @TheWateringHole!!! There’s a special satisfaction in finding the ✨RIGHT✨ spot for a plant, isn’t there?!? These 4 “orchid cacti” are relatively new to me and I’ve tried them in different places around the house looking for a good fit 😘👌🏻 And … 🥁🥁🥁 … his southern facing window with a little dappled shade from the Bloodgood Maple outside seems to be JUST the ticket! 🎟️ 🙌 Seeing all this new growth has me downright giddy 😁👏 Dare I hope for blooms??? 🤞🏻 I’m so inspired that I moved my monster Christmas Cactus back to this window too 🎄 Where are seeing inspiring new growth on this first day of June? 🌱☀️ #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #TheWateringHole #debbiedo

Hey guys, thank you for all your help and support!
