They grow plenty of new leaves but never any babies. I fertilize every other watering with orchid fertilizer finding its better for growing than the airplant fertilizer. Please correct me if wrong . I water every six days in summer and eight to nine in winter. Why why why am I not producing babies ๐ถ

@OhGollyItsJolly So sorry it took so long to respond but Greg kept crashing on me . Air plants need just enough light to not burn them leaves . The bloom cycle comes from the bright light not like the normal for others . Iโm thinking it takes a a couple years too bloom and that only happens once in their lives . Iโm finally getting some green growing from bottom and as you said fertilizer is the key in growing season. Iโve been using worm castings from We The Wild and a drop or two of Super Thrive this year and walla patients is the key. I thank you for your response. Theyโre very easy to take care of with morning sun and and weekly soaking . Oh Iโve also been using Orchid fertilizer in a spray bottle in between watering. Hereโs a picture of what Iโm assuming is babies. At least thatโs what chat bot has informed me . Great app itโs never let me down with amazing answers on everything under the sun ๐ I donโt care for AI but itโs here too stay . And now Iโm wondering how long our phones ,Amazon and smart tvs have been spying on us . Scary . The pictures are of my Medusa heads Iโm excited
@ILoveMyPlants I love everything that you just said, but Iโm gonna jump to the bottom immediately because itโs very serious. If you did not know a portable phone was never intended to be for communication. It was created as a tracking device. A lot of things smart. Donโt even need to be turned on to still be functionable because they are connected to Bluetooth Bluetooth devices try to connect to each other and weโll tell each other. Oh why are you turned off? Just checking to see if youโre still here. That is the electronic devices communicating with one another that we have no idea thatโs really going on, but it does. Thereโs options that you can actually turn off on your phone that stops a lot of this, but all of it is not turned offable.

lol as for the air plant. Thereโs one specifically on the Walmart website that I have been eyeballing and it looks like a jellyfish. Iโve lived on the Crystal Coast my entire life, and I was basically raised in saltwater. I feel like if I was to have one it would have to be this one. Looks so awesome to me!๏ฟผ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ
@OhGollyItsJolly I hate when they dye them . Love the holder for it itโs the same plant as my two with babies just a bit thinner and curly. Youโd better get it before theyโre sold out . I personally wonโt buy from bubble and blooms always end up losing the plant. There is a shop on Etsy and Amazon Iโve been using called they just sell air plants . I think the name is Airizer but could be off in spelling ๐ They guarantee them for 30 days . But she probably buys them wholesale so youโre probably safe . Ugg AI So glad you saw my response I felt like a ๐ฉ I got no patience for this app when it keeps freezing.
@ILoveMyPlants I donโt mind the messages being a little slower โlike me ๐โ because I canโt tend to a phone all day. Iโm all over the place. Plants, animals chickens, cats ๏ฟผ other animals chasing the above lol. Always nice to have something to come back to when you get a chance to sit down you know. The sea urchins in the above picture were alive and are not dyed. ๏ฟผ๏ฟผ And if you have a big air plant, a certain type of sand dollar would be a beautiful specimen for like a jellyfish head. Crazy looking extremely thick sand dollar right? the only one I have ever found like this. 45 living at the Crystal coast iโd be scared to use it and break it. Maybe theyโre common and you can find them for a couple dollars online. I have no idea but this one is special so itโs kept on a shelf for display
