Happy Friday Plant Peoples! 🪴🌺🌸 I found something I wanted to share with everyone! This guy has been 5 years without a single fungus gnat! 5YEARS! https:// I already have Neem cake so I’m gonna a try it (I happen to have found a silly single gnat in my house yesterday! I have only seen one, but one is too many as far as I’m concerned!) starting today! Hello everyone. It’s another hot one, of course, in West Central Florida. 95° with the heat index of 106. No rain yet. I’m still working outside for a while. I bought a new Desert Rose and a beautiful pot, for it to go in, yesterday. Now I have three desert rose plants. Hello wonderful plant people. I hope you and your plants are growing well. While out mowing my property today, I found this tree that I’ve not seen before. I was introduced to it the hard way, notice the thorns. I took a picture of it and looked it up. It appears to be a southern prickly ash sometimes called a Hercules club tree. Lots of big thorns. I have never seen one of these trees before and I have no idea how I got there unless a bird pooped out a seed. I’m still new to the pothos world. My Albo pothos is a bit unruly and barely fitting in the window sill. Should I put some of the branches on a trellis or some kind of stake? Wishing the whole gang a Happy Juneteenth! I was off work today so I got to do some traipsing about the five boroughs..alright only three. I’ve been on the prowl for those new Climb-Itt poles for my BMF for the longest time and I can’t find them!! However, I DID see them in the wild for the first time today - literally, as they had Silver Swords growing on them. I considered buying and de-mounting the Philo but that just seemed rude. The search continues. Has anyone tried them?? While I was in Home Depot, I also ran into this guy that I thought I had to share. I was shocked because normally around here, $50 gets you just one little stem that looks like someone propped and stuck in soil - no branching or anything. And this one had THREE branched Euphorbia Ghosts in the pot (albeit needed some TLC). I didn’t get it because I couldn’t think of where I’d put it. Now I am back home and reminded of those wise words - “If you practice self-restraint, you’ll gain regret.” 😂 @Idplantthat #thewateringhole

My Mandevilla #BrazilianJasmine has taken off like its name Rocket and is flowering beautifully. I’ve had him a few years now. I love how he’s wrapped around the decorative lattice and growing up over the patio cover. Hello again, everyone. ✌️ I hope all is well. This is my 40+ year-old hibiscus and its long awaited first flower of this year. This is the one that I photographed for my oasis. The unusual frost we had here, earlier in the year, had killed it all the way down to the ground. I was very concerned about it being dead. I managed to save it and am very happy to see it quickly growing back. This is, by far,my oldest plant. I was in my 20s when I planted it. ♥️ This plant has seen me grow old. 👨‍🌾Wow, and now it has many buds on it. I’m trying to decide what to do with my overgrown kitchen window. Monstera problems I repotted my monstera a few weeks back, thought she’s enjoy a good soaping from the rain and now my leaves are turning yellow. 🥲I don’t know if it’s fungus because she only a little damp not wet inside.
