Hello everyone, I hope you’re having a great day and you and your plants are growing. I visited the county master gardeners’s nursery this morning. I bought another giant plum ginger and a passion vine. I am going to start building a couple of these tables for my plants. I thought I would share it here. Here’s what they use in their nursery, two by fours and hardware cloth which is quarter inch chicken wire supported by cinder blocks. The dimensions are 8 foot long by 22 inches wide . Good morning everyone. It’s a great day. I like to share something that I do. I’ve been doing it for about two months now and it seems to work very well. I have a gallon plastic container that I put banana peels in, I found some old protein powder and I dump a little bit of that in there and I put a little bit of old coffee grounds. I fill it with water and I let it sit. I’ve been dumping this concoction on my plants. I poured the gallon of that on my hibiscus late yesterday afternoon. I swear the plant looks so much better. This is free fertilizer and it’s about as organic as you can get. When picking this plant out I did not expect it to go so cohesively on the table with my Thai con! If you didn’t know like I didn’t, the monstera Thai con and philo ring of fire have almost identical variegation the philo just has more yellow tones than the Thai con🥹 Now officially two of my favorite house plants I think🤗 (My Thai con is still slowly but surely pushing out the new birthday leaf, I’ll make sure to update once it’s unfurled🥹) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict

Hello all! Just wanted to share a new episode. A few months ago we were offered a propagated division of this gorgeous Black Stem Alocasia, one with 3 leaves on it. It all looked fine in the first days, new vase, great and mixed soil, humidity, lots of hours of indirect sunlight and then...one leaf starts to yellow like in the first photo. I let it stay, replanting shock I thought. Let it stay and reabsorb some nutrients while you are at it. One week goes by, another one gets yellow. Same thing, let it stay as long as you can. 3 weeks go by and then...the first new growth! 2 weeks later...another one! One week later and...this 4th curious one just showed up! #OutdoorGrowing #HappyPlants #HappyPlants. These hydrangeas are growing in Souteast Texas on the north side of my house. They have had a rough three/four years, and I’m trying to do better. Can you help me determine if this is mold on the leaves? What should I do to help these plants? When do I trim them to ensure next season’s blooms? I think some bloom on old growth and some bloom on new growth. I’m not sure which these are. We had a lot of rain from a tropical disturbance that went through and now very hot and dry.

Hello again, everyone. ✌️ I hope all is well. This is my 40+ year-old hibiscus and its long awaited first flower of this year. This is the one that I photographed for my oasis. The unusual frost we had here, earlier in the year, had killed it all the way down to the ground. I was very concerned about it being dead. I managed to save it and am very happy to see it quickly growing back. This is, by far,my oldest plant. I was in my 20s when I planted it. ♥️ This plant has seen me grow old. 👨‍🌾Wow, and now it has many buds on it.
