What succulent is this?
I was gifted an assortment of succulents and cactuses, and Iβm wondering what this specific one is. If anyone knows, thank you! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #Succulents #Succulent
@SillyPlantGirl omg yes! I was really hoping it was a ghost plant, thank you!
@SillyPlantGirl no i honestly get it, im always nearly overwatering them, the only reason why all of mine are still alive is because of my dads advice and the amazing people on this app, i ask sooo many questions at least twice a day XD.
@SillyPlantGirl itβs also my first ghost plant, and I also have a Christmas cactus propagating with it and I have ZERO idea how to care for cacti, but I do love how Christmas cacti look, I just hope I donβt kill it before it grows, I mean I donβt want to kill it in general lol
@SillyPlantGirl Iβm hoping to get it to be year round, but itβs still just a little leaf thatβs propagating, Iβm not home at the moment so my friend took the photo for me. So this is as good as I can get from her
@SillyPlantGirl I will have to ask the original owner of it, as these were gifted to me by a church friend
Ok no problem. This is my Easter cactus. Last year (May 2025 I think) it got overwatered and I thought it was dead- it was way bigger. I took all the ones I could and put them in perlite and coco coir. You can see some are still struggling. Itβs not out of the woods yet but itβs going so much better. I only ask about that one little piece because itβs super hard to get them to grow from just one segment. Keep the soil moist- no soaking. Keep it in bright indirect sunlight. If itβs going to put out roots- it will take 3-6 weeks. I wish you luck! I really hope it takes root for you. I love all the Christmas cacti varieties. πͺ΄π
@LikelyChaya33 twice a day? Iβm on here so much people are probably tired of me!! π€
@SillyPlantGirl, I feel that XD, I may have a bunch of plantsβ¦but Im also overly cautious about everything plant and not plant related things
@SillyPlantGirl She said that she immediately put it in soil. She has a couple of bits that are in the water right now, and it might as well be a Thanksgiving cactus, but it blooms twice a year, the one that it came off of blooms around Christmas and around Easter.
