Good evening everyone. Is now 9:35 PM in West Central Florida and it’s still 90°. We had a very hot day here no rain. Here’s a photo, update, of my crêpe myrtle tree that I call Phoenix. This is a tree that was severely damaged several years ago by severe weather, including a hurricane and looked like it was dead. Late last year I took a chainsaw and, sadly, cut it down. It is now about 7 feet high and it’s been blooming for over a month. It’s a beautiful sunny Thursday here ☀️. A bit warm but not beastly hot 🥵 😮‍💨. Waiting for the afternoon breeze off the ocean 🌊 🌬️ to cool things off 🏖️. Tried posting earlier but poof 💨 it disappeared so here’s a quick mini version: my Moonshine philodendron hasn’t grown much all spring/summer. Protected southern window, Superthrive Pro, up-potted to 6” pot May 2024. Any advice? Pics of my encyclia orchid still in treatment/isolation for thrips 😖 . The first treatment (insecticidal soap with spinosad) didn’t go so well as I rubbed too hard evidently and stripped parts of some leaves 🍃 of protective coating. But he seems to be recovering ❤️‍🩹 and has some new growth so 😮‍💨 😌 😅!!! Last 2 pics are SOH cuttings, so sweetly sent by @stephongreg so I can have another go at trying to raise SOH 🩷🤍💚. The sphagnum moss pot is doing well 👍 although it’ll be a job getting them off the moss and into pots 😑. The soil prop pot should be good to go as is🫡👍. My friend gave me her propagation. I cleaned the roots and put it in soil. It’s been a few weeks and I feel like it’s struggling to grow. Should I cut after the last big leaf and propagate the small leaves?

My ZZ plant has some leaves that are turning yellow, but I don’t think it’s overwatering because I’ve been following the apps watering directions, And the soil doesn’t seem extra moist.

Good afternoon from my state of California. I am doing well. All my tropical beauties are doing great, thriving, growing, and looking amazing. I decided last night to try an experiment with my silver dragon plant. The experiment that I am currently trying is, I took a clear plastic bag with exception of having black print on it but overall clear plastic and the steps that I did are as follows 1)open the bag and spray water in the bag as a mist trigger towards the hope of a humidity increaser introducer to try to prevent the edges of the leaves crisping among the attempt to rehydrate the edges of the leaves, then this morning I put the silver dragon plant with the plastic bag over it right in front of the window being inside and getting some good sunlight indirectly to allow the process of trying to raise the humidity up and the attempt of rehydrating the edges of the leaves on my silver dragon. How long should I leave the plastic bag over the plant? Images are coming

Can anyone ID this sanseveria? She was too beautiful to pass up for $10. She's about a foot tall and her leaves are pretty wide. New growth is very bright green, the older leaves are darker. Most leaves look a solid color except the most mature ones. I know shes needs wiped off, I literally stopped to snap photos before I even got her in the jeep.
