I prefer plastic over terracotta for hoya, because the roots attach onto things and will get damaged when the terracotta dries out all the way or when you try to repot it.

The ideal plastic pot has lots of drainage holes in the bottom.
@Alinaa oh ok thank you because i love plastic pots since they have so much drainage
@nenisgreenery same! I’m into adding extra holes into the side of the pots and clear plastic these days too!

Btw, thanks for marking that as best!
@Alinaa ur welcome you always answer my questions 😊 i appreciate it. i have another question can i put this plant facing east window? i want to put it there and the window is in the front will it do best there?
@nenisgreenery i dont have as mych space in a south n west window
@Alinaa @nenisgreenery I would think orchid pots would work well then. Lots of drainage and most of the less expensive varieties are "clear" / translucent.
I have some Hoyas in east windows behind a screen, but I do supplement with grow lights there to varying degrees for different Hoyas. I know many people keep not so picky Hoyas in east windows without extra light happily. Since yours has a lot of white on it, generally they’ll need a lot of light to encourage future growth to remain like that, so it may grow slowly and come in more green. @nenisgreenery
@UltraKoreanfir and yes orchid pots are great, but a bit expensive, but worth if it fits in your budget. Hoyas like really small pots so I have bunches of things in just little clear party cups, you can cut holes in the bottom and/or pot holes in with a soldering iron or wood burning tool.

I’m into Hoyas so always happy to help on them!
@UltraKoreanfir so i should put it in a south window
