Hey guys Iām trying to grow a cacao tree itās currently winter here in Australia and I donāt live in a tropical climate. The nursery I bought the tree from said this type of cacao tree can tolerate the frost/cold. My tree to me looks like it could be dying Iām not sure what to do Iāve tried spraying it with neem oil a plant friend recommended it, but sheās never grown a cacao tree. Iāll add some pictures of my tree and where I bought it from. If anyone has any ideas on what I could be doing wrong or what I can do to fix it, I would really appreciate the help. Thanks. #CacaoTree

Yellowing of Cacao plant Does anyone know why my #Cacaoplant keeps yellowing? I think it could be the sun, but itās hot directly hitting it. I leave it in my balcony, not so close to where the sun hits⦠can these be grown indoors? I have also noticed that although the leaves are turning yellow and drying, I am having some flowering on the sides and new growth on top. #CacaoTree

Sad Cocoa Tree Hello friends! We got this Cocoa tree about 2 months ago. We didnāt know anything about this tree and after research did our best. We put it next to an east facing window where it got lots of direct sunlight. Soon after the leaves started to turn light green and brown. We moved it away from the window and weāre also worried about root rot so we gave it a larger container with drainage and succulent soil. It hasnāt gotten worse since we have done this but it hasnāt gotten any better. The soil stays pretty saturated and takes a very long time to dry. #sendhelp #cocoatree

Preferred fertilizer for baby cacao tree? #CacaoTree Hi fellow Cacao tree growers, just wondering if you have a favorite fertilizer or if you know of one that is specific for this plant? Thanks everyone!

My #CacaoTree seems to be suffering from root rot or something similar. Yellowing leaves and her root system is currently pitiful⦠hoping she pulls through! Just repotted her in a much smaller pot and clean soil. Not sure what else I can do at the moment besides wait.
