About Hoya khroniana Silver Splash
With over 500 species and even more cultivars, there's a Hoya out there for everyone! They're native to Southeast Asia and their common name, waxplant, refers to their thick, waxy leaves which help them retain water in the heat. They're excellent climbers and will take off if you give them a trellis to grow on. Their other-worldly, star-shaped flowers are often fragrant and come in brilliant shades of red, pink, yellow, and more!

How to fertilize Hoya khroniana Silver Splash

Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Hoya khroniana Silver Splash after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

Wrinkly lil bean — too much or not enough water? #PropagationStation Hey #Hoya people, attaching a pic of a lil krohniana bean I’m trying to propagate. It’s lightly rooted but no new growth. It’s been looking wrinkly and I don’t know why. Maybe too much light? I have it under a growth light. Any advice would be great thank you!!

Are these signs of under watering or something more serious like root rot? I’ve noticed some of the leaves of my Hoya have because very soft and they start to rot. The plant has been a lot thirstier lately so I wander if it is because I haven’t watered it enough, or if it is a more serious threat like a pest or root rot. Thanks !

SHE HAS ARRIVED!! After a long and arduous wait for my precious darling to arrive, she’s finally here!! This is my new #HoyaKrohnianaSplash from the Etsy store GreenthingsNstrings. Everyone should go check them out, it’s a beautiful plant and I’m pretty sure she has a bunch of others you can buy!! I’ll put the link in a comment. 😊 Pictures- part of the packaging (I took about 3 layers off before it, so it was perfectly packaged), the plant after I first unwrapped it, and the plant after a protectional pest bath (though I didn’t see any when I checked. This pic is the one in the plant’s icon). I definitely reccomend!! Here’s to my first trailing Hoya and the start of a plant fast (until January)! #Hoya #HoyaHangout #NewPlants #onlineplants #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #plantfast @Nightshade @JCPlantProper @Mrgncrch and I’ll tag some more of y’all in the comments. 😁 #alltangosposts

Long time! It's been quite a while since I posted, I do, however check on #Greggers and the posts daily. I was very ill for a while with the flu and pneumonia, sadly I lost a few plants (a couple of hoyas which broke my heart 💔) as I was unable to care for them. It took a while to catch up on planty care but my planty babies seem to be doing now and lots of new growth. So last week I decided to reward myself with a new hoya from #plantproper. Oh my what a gorgeous Hoya Enduaensis. Plant proper never ceases to provide beautiful plants. #plantproperfanclub #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #crazyplantlady #hoya #hoyahangout #hoyaheads #sarahsgrove
