Just brought this Hoya kerrii home today after spotting it at the grocery store and not being able to leave it 🤦‍♀️ I have a mix with soil, perlite, and orchid bark, will that be good? Any advice on how to get him healthy?

My Hoya callistophylla was my favorite Hoya. Until this one arrived. Hoya clemensiorum. It’s so Jurassic looking and huge leaves. I just love admiring it. He’s pretty new so hasn’t done much in my care yet but so excited to see him grow. I’m new to Hoyas and can’t wait to have one bloom someday #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #HappyPlants #Hoya #HoyaHangout

I have had this plant for several years now and I don’t think it has put on more than maybe two leaves but it also hasn’t lost any and has never bloomed. Is that normal or do I need to do something to encourage more foliage and blooms? Thank you!

I bought these three separate starters in 2" pots a week ago. Should I repot them separately, or together? I'm only repotting now because I don't like the soil. #hoyacarnosa #hoyakrimsonqueen #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #repotseason

My daughter got a new ball python meet mango he is a little explorer that’s for sure I got some of my Hoya props potted up and on a trellis my homa put out this awesome new wonky leaf I just love and I got all kinds of Hoya blooms going on right now :) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #HoyaHangout #Hoya

Curious to see what root rot looks like? My poor Hoya! The astute viewer will see that there’s healthy new roots growing on the 2nd cutting and the 4th has a chonky little mealy bug 🫣 I’ve chopped all rotten roots off and started this back again in fresh LECA (2nd pic). Soooo… I didn’t stay home and rest and try to recover from last night’s migraine. Instead I met DD1 and my granddaughter at PetSmart, bought #PipSqueakTheIntrepid new cat food (already switching to adult because lil miss has become rather portly since her spay surgery last month), and then we skipped on down to Home Depot. I was hoping ours might’ve gotten some of those Thai Cons that @Kapuac lucked out on getting yesterday at hers. Instead I found literal shelves of houseplants drowning. Not even kidding. Water was pooling on top of soil because the pots were full of water. I was so disgusted. Thus I rescued a handful and hopefully they weren’t too far gone that they succumb during their adjustment period in their new safe haven. I mean there’s one little Hoya that I was legit squeezing water out of when I got home; now it’s out of its grow pot and getting some air while resting on paper towels on my kitchen counter. And oh, the ZZ plant… I probably poured 3/4 cup of water out of its cache pot right there in the store. 🤞🏻 Hope they all make it. I also grabbed a rose bush while there (👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻), and then a short while later we went to Trader Joe’s (*happy sigh* man, I love TJ’s) and I found myself a flippin’ RED orchid!! I have wanted a red orchid for YEARS, and there it was—just one, as if it was waiting for me. Bonus: it was only ten bucks. #FreshLeafFriday #NewGrowth I am loving that springtime is on its way. Well at least it has been this week in SoCal. I’ve noticed some very pretty plants with new growth when I was watering today!
