Finding light for Papaya in your home
a window
Papaya love being close to bright, sunny windows 😎.
Place it less than 1ft from a south-facing window to maximize the potential for growth.
Papaya does not tolerate low-light 🚫.
Select your region to see how the current weather in your area affects the placement of Papaya in your home 🏡.
How to fertilize Papaya
Most potting soils come with ample nutrients which plants use to produce new growth.
By the time your plant has depleted the nutrients in its soil it’s likely grown enough to need a larger pot anyway.
To replenish this plant's nutrients, repot your Papaya after it doubles in size or once a year—whichever comes first.

What species of plant is this I got this plant, mislabeled as the Tamil name for Indian myrobalan. The plant resembles black turkey fig or cassava, which one is this? It has clear to white milky sap and is 35 cm tall and is sold for cheap by bulk,is truly palmate, is grown on sandy soil, and is a juvenile. And the leaves smell slighy sweet and grassy. And has a toothed margin on the leaves. So what plant is this?!

Just got a new plant that was mislabeled as haritaki. Found out it is ficus carica (common fig) for 10 dirhams, which is 4 dollars. Wish me luck with this!
