This is my plant story....This was my first houseplant. It took me awhile to figure out exactly what it was but I guess it's an umbrella plant. She has grown a few inches since I first brought her home 3 years ago. I think it's time to repot her but I've never done that with such a large plant. Any suggestions on how to go about it? New babies! Got home yesterday and was honestly and completely EXHAUSTED so didn’t post until now. Went to Lowe’s during my grocery run and saw some new stuff! This is my first year of exploring the new opening season of fresh plants in stock and it’s exciting ❤️❤️❤️ I couldn’t go home without this cute variegated #ScheffleraArdoricola mini #UmbrellaPlant His colors are so pretty 🤩 They also had some gorgeous #BirdsNestFerns (this is my very first fern lol). Saw a picture of this plant in one of my books and fell in love with it. The bright green wavy foliage is so lovely 🥰 Also saw this #CallisiaPinkPanther hanging around and she seemed to be all by her lonesome. I don’t think they had anymore and if they did they were hiding. Look at this colorful thing! Is she not precious?!? I gave her a trim this morning and shaped her up. Her details are beautiful 😍 Can’t wait to see these babies grow this year. Show me them please!! 📿🪆💎 Other than plants, my favourite thing in the world is The Muppets 🎭 The sheer joy I get from watching old episodes of The Muppet Show and the films that Jim Henson and crew created is unmatched (nearly the whole back catalogue is on Disney+ now, you’re welcome). So, when Lego announced their mini figures of The Muppets, I knew I needed them for my plants. I actually asked for them for my 25th birthday earlier this month 😆 I’ve got all 12 of the gang, so they’re now gonna be in my plant pots for the foreseeable! I bought new plants today lads… an #UmbrellaPlant and something I’m not sure of yet… potentially a Calathia of some kind?? There was a big sale sticker over the identifying label so will try and salvage it tomorrow but man, it’s been a while since I’ve got some new plants so I’m a bit excited. They’re in plant jail for a few weeks in the spare room - but I’ll add them to my plant list on here tomorrow! My partner was actually more receptive than he used to be, mostly because he knows I use Greg so faithfully to help care for our indoor garden! So thanks #GregGang for helping me so much with my plants. This community has helped with my mental health more than I could have imagined too, and that gave me the confidence to go to the garden centre today, something I wouldn’t have been able to do a few months ago. Forcing myself to care for my plants the best I can, is making me look after me too, again, something I wasn’t doing a few months ago either. I don’t know if anyone will read this, but thanks for answering my questions and making me a better plant parent and person too. Community matters more than I remembered, and this one is really good for me 💚🌱 #Nallon
