Hello wonderful plant people. I hope you and your plants are growing well. While out mowing my property today, I found this tree that I’ve not seen before. I was introduced to it the hard way, notice the thorns. I took a picture of it and looked it up. It appears to be a southern prickly ash sometimes called a Hercules club tree. Lots of big thorns. I have never seen one of these trees before and I have no idea how I got there unless a bird pooped out a seed. I’m still new to the pothos world. My Albo pothos is a bit unruly and barely fitting in the window sill. Should I put some of the branches on a trellis or some kind of stake? Hello everyone. It’s another hot one, of course, in West Central Florida. 95° with the heat index of 106. No rain yet. I’m still working outside for a while. It came!!!! Plant Mail 🪴 #happyplants #hoyahangout #hoya My hoya freckles. So pretty 😍. I got the little USB humidifier at the thrift store today for $3. I always see them on Amazon. Was wondering how well they work. Went to Walmart this morning. They have some pots on sale. Snagged that 6 in for $5. He’s about 2 years old so no flowers yet but Tom’s sprouting this huge leaf in the middle and it’s sort of hard inside so I’m not sure if it’s a few leaves rolled up or the beginning of a flower stalk inside the leaf,🤷‍♀️! It’s so exciting!! I hope it’s a flower stalk because I feel like I’ve been waiting forever. The 1st photo is a picture of Tom he when I got him. Other photos are from tonight. 🤞 I’m going to see a flower shoot out in a few weeks!!!

Good morning everyone. It’s a great day. I like to share something that I do. I’ve been doing it for about two months now and it seems to work very well. I have a gallon plastic container that I put banana peels in, I found some old protein powder and I dump a little bit of that in there and I put a little bit of old coffee grounds. I fill it with water and I let it sit. I’ve been dumping this concoction on my plants. I poured the gallon of that on my hibiscus late yesterday afternoon. I swear the plant looks so much better. This is free fertilizer and it’s about as organic as you can get.
