It’s Friday! Yay 🎉 Although being stuck indoors for 5 days due to Extreme Heat 🥵 every day feels the same! I have to check 🗓️ to be sure it’s really Friday 👍 🤪 😝 !! We don’t have AC… 11.5 months out of the year we don’t need it 🏖️ 🏝️ 🌊 🏄‍♀️ 🌴 👙 The past few weeks though it’s been +80° to +90° 🥵 🫠 😓 So plant care has been a priority!! Shades drawn, fans on ✅. TG today we’re getting a break!!!! And so my baby rubber plant Emily Blunt (pep. obtusifolia = blunt leaved) gets a bit of morning sun ☀️. She has grown so much in 4.5 years. I love how she trails 🍃💚🥰 Do you have a Before & After 🪴 to share? Or how about a name for your plant that’s special to you? Great feeling seeing some 10-15$ clearance trees come to life even if the season is coming to an end soon. I’m knew to Maple so forgive me, but I just cannot get over how extremely bright glowing red. The new growth is first thing in the mornings these pictures do not even come close to giving it justice. Thought it was a butterfly at first because the trees are pretty much ready for winter with no leaves Struggling hard from “box store stress” Happy to see life! #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PropagationStation If Ionly knew someone who did #tissueculture someone would have some new variegated pink lemonade trees “14 at least” #RepotSeason bigger home means more growth more blooms more fruit. 13” to a 16” whiskey barrel now. She’s been so happy. Gave her a small little hair cut to encourage her to dig her feet in & get comfy. I don’t know a single person who does tissue culture so if you happen to be eastern North Carolina 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hello all my friends 👋🏽 I pray everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I keep it very quiet and simple 😂 So a couple of mine are experiencing some issues; I’ve been researching but I can’t figure it out: The rest have been watered and fertilized. The Burkin has a soft brown spot on the white leaf: google say it’s normal process that Burkin go through but I’m very skeptical, it’s not supposed to get soft as it turns dark! (Jmo) I was only save 2 small ZZ from Lazarus, and it’s not overwatered but turning yellow: I just repotted about a week ago and there was no noticeable root rot: Any suggestions or ides would be much appreciated #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #TheWateringHole #TheThread @princesspitstop @SuperbRaspfern #NewGrowth #ZzPlant

I’ve got all my plants cared for. New pot soil if needed, removal of dead leaves and releasing roots from tight soil, potting leaflets that have produced roots, heading etiolated and stems with lots of leaf loss and repotting to allow for root growth, and more. Now I’m venturing into the seeding of sundews. I’ve chosen two quick growing varieties (one perennial one annual. I’ll plant them in a seed starter tray with a cover and tray to keep water in. I hope only a few of each species will be successful as I’m trying to downshift my obsession. It’ll be just my luck to get hundreds of plantlets.
