Is this philodendron too young to attach to a moss pole? I just got it a new to these plants. If not which part of it do I attach? I’d appreciate any advice as a newbie. Hi all. It’s been a while since I’ve posted. Wanted to share a couple of new plants. Got the Song of India about 3 weeks ago. I put it in my Talavera pot and it has not only grown at least 2 inches all over, but I now have 3 babies! The other is a set of snake plants I got on Etsy…and I just wanted to show off the Tentacke I got- I thought they were really cute- at night time- they glow!!! My new shipments are Hoyas came today, and so did my little, little cute cyrtosperma johnstonii! I can’t wait to see these dinosaur 🦕 scale-like leaves! I ventured out this morning to inspect the plants before the sun becomes too intense and bright. I’m back inside now, but not before capturing a few photos. The greenhouse is incredibly humid this morning! The acclimating outdoor plants are looking remarkably better. I did some work in the yard today. Planted zinnia seeds, Amaryllis and hyacinth bulbs. Also planted a lilac bush, sweet pea plant, Mandevilla, gardenia as well as the marigolds in my little courtyard. I mixed in some sun flower seeds in the middle of the marigolds!! I’m so happy! My undulata is actually looking pretty good; this is one of my first ever Hoyas. I’ve heard these ones can be a little more tricky? Does anyone else have more experience with a particular Hoya? Any suggestions as far as making it better?? Otherwise, what’s your favorite Hoya you’ve grown? Like, wishlist?? Hello my loves 🫶🌿 Happy Tuesday #TheWateringHole , or should I say, happy #untidytuesday 😏 (It’s ALWAYS #untidytuesday at my house, ha ha ha! 😂😄…🥺😭😭 ) It’s been hot here, the last few days (80° F 🥵) and we are all looking forward to rain 🌧️ ☔️ tomorrow and in the 60°’s again, ahhh 🧘‍♀️. Plus that means I might not have to water anything outside 🤞🤞 I’ve been putzing around, doing planty chores, and checking on all my props from @IdPlantThat 🥰 Practically EVERYONE has been doing great 🙌 My new favorite method of propagating!: Perlite + a ziplock bag + my own hot air 🌬️ I live in a cool, wet climate, as most of you know already, and I had horrible luck with sphag. It always molds 🦠 instantly, or at least, within 12 hours 😵‍💫 I love this perlite + bag method because it is not inducive to mold growth, roots grown in perlite are more like soil roots already, and each bag is its own humidity box AND quarantine station! busy Busy BUSY!! I have not been on here for a while, I work late and have chores later. Specially plant chores. I just spent over an hour repotting. I told myself I’d be done at 8. It’s past 9. I also have SO many new plants. I haven’t added them all because most are cutting and I don’t know if they’ll survive. Here’s a quick list: 4 monstera deliciousas Neon adansonii 3 Neon pothos Lemon lime philodendron Alocasia Gangeana 2 Pothos Albo Heartleaf Philodendron Various tiny succulents Various succulent leaves String of hearts var. and normal String of turtles Syngonium Albo …I think that’s it besides my three rescue red peacock calatheas I plan on selling eventually. WAIT I FORGOT ONE! *ahem* Random Hoya …I think that’s all now.
