I’m not good with moss poles so I gave him a trellis instead. Look at those leaf colors he’s throwing out. I’m wondering if maybe I should cut it back a bit and propagate. What do you all think?

My Meyer Lemon showed up at the exact same time as my Calamondin...3 plus months ago. I thought since I shared the status of my Calamondin I'd share the Meyers status. Both are doing well and doubled or more in size. I hope they stay happy. 😆

Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here is my first batch of habanero peppers. Often what I do is I dry them in the oven. Grind them up. This time I think I’m gonna add a little red curry to them. Then put them then put them in a shaker. Sometimes I grill them with olive oil and a little salt. Rule of thumb! ALWAYS repot your nursery plants. It’s not blasted everywhere so everyone thinks nurseries are out to get them by intentionally killing their plants so they have to buy a new one after a few months. But that’s really not the case! Stock sits at wholesalers for months in the same pots. Overtime the potting media wears down, breaks down and fills up the pore space where oxygen should be, making the soil heavily compacted. By the time it gets to a nursery and then sits in the stock, it might of been in that same pot to up to a year. The roots are yearning for more room, the soil is basically dead dirt at that point, and ur plant is starving & suffocating. They will always appreciate a repot as soon as it’s settled into your environment. And if you’re too nervous to do it, just ask your local nursery worker - we do it allll the time and most of us are happy to help :) (please note not ALL plants will come like this, sometimes they’ve been recently repotted or other factors, but you can really tell, the mix will be fluffy and fresh still, compacted soil is bouncy and stuck together) Hello people reading this! my names Isabelle, I’ve been a silent observer throughout my studies and I’m feeling confident enough to share what I have learnt and what I will continue to learn throughout my endeavours #pottingadvice #PlantTips #advice #HappyPlants #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #NewPlantMom #Horticulture #Soils

Got my work cut out for me today. We’ve been having a two week period of rain that has kept the greenhouse cool but encouraged MEALYBUGS! I’m thinking about not only isolating the two or three that are getting little spots, but treating everyone with alcohol as a deterrent. So a lot of people don't like the devil's backbone cactus. Very easy cactus to take care of. I got this from my neighbor. The original plant that this was propagated off of has been in his family since he was a child. My neighbor is well into his late 70s. He had this plant 2 years before he gave it to me. Came home from a long day at work to this... I sprayed her down with dead bug brew, neem oil and a (fungicide bc why not?) I just seen a post on here the other day about flat mites that affect hoyas? There is no way I can isolate her.
