My pathos suddenly started yellowing and leaves became droopy. There’s a chance I’ve been overwatering but her soil dried through very quickly . I also moved her to a window near by where she used to sit. I’ve since moved her back but should I risk watering her again #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #helpneeded
It’s always frustrating when our plants start yellowing. When you water her I’ve you been checking to see if the top is dry or almost the whole thing, and how often are you watering? I think moving her to a brighter area was a good idea because if the soil isn’t drying up enough, it will in cause root rot. You also should cut off the leaves that are almost completely yellow to help the plant recover faster instead of focusing on trying to bring back a dead leaf. I’m not sure on this but, could she have outgrown her pot and is stressed? I hope this helped! 🌱 😃
@Succulent_Soul when plants are taking back water and nutrients from a leaf and are turning yellow, it’s not the best idea to cut them off. Wait until they’re dead and brown and practically fall off in your hand. See, the thing is, otherwise your plant might start taking nutrients from another leaf, because they’re thinking “hey! Where’d that leaf go? Well, I’d better use the water in the next oldest leaf then” You are also introducing a wound 🩹 to which bacteria 🦠 may enter your plant. Let them decide when they will drop a leaf, because they will make sure there is not an open wound. 😷
@FitNeem40 When and how do you water? She looks over watered to me…yellow older leaves + droopy + very pale and washed out looking. Definitely put her in good lighting in a window and keep her there. Plants don’t like being moved about so much 😄 Only water when the pot is about 90% dry.

@DreamMachine thank you for clarifying that! 😊
