This is a clipping I propagated last fall. I was surprised over leaf growth but genuinely shocked over a flower bud, as this has all happened under grow lights. (Also pictured is the mother plant RIP. This species needs a lot of room.) #succulentsquad #freshleaffriday

Heyyy! I absolutely know I’m going to forget to post in the morning, so I’m getting it in early for #FreshLeafFriday (are those still a thing? I’ve been so out of the loop) 🪴 Without further ado: new leaves (first one open; second one still furled) on my burgundy #Ficus. These are the first new leaves in a LONG time—it did not get enough light in that tiny apartment I just left! Now it has front row seats to the sunrise every morning 🌅 Then, we have my rehabilitated variegated #StringOfPearls, which a friend gave to me in a sad, shriveled little vine with one lonely root. Now look at it go! 😊 Bonus pics to use all 5 spaces (why not?): watered all my growing babies and #Propagation s this morning. I love these cute 1” clear plastic pots! They are perfect for propagating! New exciting tool I have for my watering needs in the greenhouse. It’s a rechargeable watering wand I have put in my rainwater tank so I don’t have to bend down to fill my watering can with a gravity hose. It’s very light to handle and can deliver an easy flowing stream right into the little pan around each of my plants. It even has different flow speeds and a nice long hose that reaches to the furthest point of the greenhouse. Oooo! I’m such a happy stick smeller! #HappyPlants #TheWateringHole #SucculentSquad

Hi everyone!! Long time no see sorry we’ve been pretty busy 😅 hope y’all are doing great! we’re still planting away!! Here are the sculptures as they exist today. I finally have all the air plants I want (who am I kidding?).I may have to rearrange them again as I’ve discovered hot glue and wood glue loosen the in the rain. I’ve spent the whole day yesterday trying to determine which of my plants can’t survive the 100 degree temperatures we have in the summer. I’ve moved these inside the house so I can regulate them better. I hope you can help me verify my choices and add any genera that should be included in case I have them. So here goes: Sempervivum Lithops. Burro’s tail sedum. Haworthia, thin leafed Echeveria Crassula ovata Greenovia Hoya Pachyphytum. Pleiopsis.
