Rotting cactus!

#BlueMyrtleCactus I found a suspicious spot on my baby cactus today, and my stick went straight into it so I know that area is mushy. Will it continue to spread and kill the whole cactus? What should I do? TIA! #CactusClique #Cactus #help #helpneeded #SucculentSquad

Lauren @SlinkyFivespot8 please report the โ˜๏ธ comment, probably a scammer
@SlinkyFivespot8 you need to get it out of that soil asap. It's rotting from overwatering. Cactus do best in terracotta pots, they're porous which helps the soil dry out faster. And only water it when the soil is TOTALLY DRY. When in doubt, always err on the side of underwatering your cactus. They're desert plants so they can go a very long time without water. Years even.

Also, yes report the first commenter. Based on the username, sounds like their life sucks and they're trying to make everyone else as miserable as them. Gee, wonder why their man left? ๐Ÿ™„
@Mymanleft.com You ok? You should consider taking up a hobby, like...plants!
