Hi Barbara, I’ve had most of my figs for 3 to 4 years. They have yet to produce any fruit.🤔
Different kinds of figs take different time to produce figs. I have three types and the one I harvested today started producing figs after a couple of years. The third picture is of a fig that waited four years to produce and still has trouble ripening before it gets too cold. I have great hopes this year as it’s put on more and larger figs than ever. My third plant is in the backyard and is the most common fig in these parts, but it has yet after three years to make figs or even grow much though it was rooted from a branch that was higher than my roof. So I can’t tell you when your fig will “flower” but keep watering it and one day it’ll surprise you.
@BEsucculent Yummmmm! 🤤
You’re getting figgy over in your garden! How exciting first-time harvest; that’s so exciting 🥰👏🏻 that’s a lot of time and effort. Fruit trees can take forever to fruit! At least it’s not a 15-year fruiter 😹
Wow! Figs are delicious 😋. How long do they take to grow?
