My 2 new Thyme leaf-Cotoneaster future #Bonsai just received & thoroughly cleaned soil off the roots & uppotted to 8” pots for the growth phase. I planted one on top of a palm ✋ size piece of granite to form an over a rock build. Can’t wait till they settle in. Just potted at dark last night pic this morning 🌅 #RarePlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #FloweringPlants Goal is to create a miniature apple tree appearance.

Meet Shadow Magic my new rare Black/Dark Purple foliage dark red/pink blooms Dwarf Crêpe Myrtle “possibly red bark tree unsure will have to see” all the other crepes are red skinned here 🤷🏻‍♂️ a variety that is basically immune to powdery mildew and pests through breeding fresh breed less than three years old, super rare “super lucky to get one for this price” super happy & excited for the 1st blooms to open I hope they are a bright blood red  #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #RarePlants #OutdoorGrowing #FloweringPlants #LowMaintenance #

My new Jujube GA 866 came in today all the way from Mendocino, California. Almost full coast to coast. Just freshly potted it into a 9” pot I had, to establish a better root system. Plan to plant it in the ground but going to keep it potted until it gets better established & can have a little time to train it & wire it up to get some movement in the trunk. I didn’t want to go too big with the pot because it doesn’t like much water and thought too big of a pot during winter could be bad. I definitely needs to stretch some roots out in the next couple of months. Came in a 4 inch pot, fully rooted decent amount 4-6” l. Had to untangle them a good bit. I found some moving dots in the new growth on my Swiss Mint Monstera. I took care of them immediately and moved the plant to its own area. I saw another moving in the soil but lost it.
