Not sure y’all are ready for this planty horror story…👻👹 I worked Memorial Day, so had a little extra holiday pay burning a hole in my pocket. 💸 I decided to use some of it to order a wishlist plant- The ✨✨ hoya heuschkeliana variegata✨✨ 🪴 Well…Anywho…. the flipping mailman put it ON THE GROUND against the GARAGE DOOR behind where we park!!! And my husband backed out and ran over it. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🙈🙈😭😭😭 Poor guy was mortified and texted me at work panicking. I finally unpotted today and it’s a mess. But as my dear friend @dreammachine reminded me, hoyas are rock stars of resilience. I dried my tears, repotted the best I could, and have her in a good spot with good soil, humidifier 💦 and grow light 💡. Fingers crossed, Hail Marys prayed, prayers sent up that she will hunker down and come soaring back like a phoenix 🐦‍🔥 rising from the ashes! 🙏🏼 Do you have any plant horror stories? #thewateringhole #mamalinne #hoya #hoyaddicts #plantfriendsarethebestfriends #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #GregGang

Magilla Gorgilla is going bananas with growth!! 🍌🍌🍌. He’s getting huge and is likely ready for a bigger pot. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #BananaPlant

I just want to share with others who can share my excitement and also trepidation - 😌 I am so excited at how well the Swiss cheese plant, the desert rose and cacti are doing!! I’m learning about cacti - I’m really terrible at growing them - so to see these guys thrive is thrilling! This sweet desert rose was soooo bent when I got her, but she is slowly growing and straightening and the sweet new growth just makes me so happy!! My silver dragon has had 3 new leaves since winter and is also producing 3 new stems/babies and I’m soooo excited! AND I’ve also gotten 3 corms off of her and 2 have grown! I have the first leaf for both of them! I’m so excited! And the red secret alocasia is also producing leaves and seems happy! My trepidation is my leopard lily 🥺😩 she was quite leggy when I got her and then just kept getting taller and so to repot her and keep her upright, I needed her deeper in the soil, but then she started to suffocate and die - so to salvage, I cut her way back, buried her shallowly and am praying she will regrow… 🤞 any wisdom would be welcome!

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well and you’re having a great day. This is a vignette photo I just took of my blanket plant. I bought it at the master gardeners nursery several weeks ago. A great friend of mine has one and it’s been blooming, almost, constantly for over a year. Finally I decided to buy one. This is its first bloom. 😄 ✌️

I have a Purple Dracaena plant. I just repotted it a couple of weeks ago. It has dropped most of its leaves and I had hoped to take the top off so that it would develop a thicker trunk. But now that it’s dropping all of its leaves I don’t know what to do with it now. Can someone give me some advice to help my poor baby? I’m even wondering if I should repot it with different soil? I had used a Miracle Grow soil and added peat moss, some sand and perlite to the soil, but I think I just made the soil hold “more” water than help with the drainage of water! Is this why it is dropping leaves? Please Help!!
