Sometimes doing it from different angles or getting closer to the plant also helps with getting the right ID. But you can also manually enter the type of plant if the ID tool gets it wrong. Here's how to manually enter it:
1. Whichever result comes up in the ID tool, click on "View Other Results"
2. Scroll all the way to the bottom and click "Try Searching"
3. Type in the name of your plant (in this case, Venus Fly Trap)
4. The first search result will be Venus Fly Trap. Click on that, then click "Confirm"
5. Click "Add Plant"
It will now be in your oasis! To update the details, such as pot type, name, location, etc., click on the plant from your oasis, then click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner. Select "Edit Details" and enter the information, then click "Save" when you're done ð
