By pairs well, I assume you mean in the same pot? Any other non-trailing philo will have the same or almost the same care requirements, so in theory they could be placed in the same pot. But it's not advised if you ever plan to separate them down the road. The longer they share a pot, the more intertwined their root systems will become and it will be difficult to split them up without causing considerable damage to the roots.
Snake plants have similar needs and work well with philodendrons in my expierence if you are looking for another plant to put with it!
